The hotel is a lovely place to stay The room was very comfortable, always cleaned to a high standard and the staff always attentive Lovely surroundings and peaceful with a lovely lake central to the resort There is a large choice of food that is outstanding in quality We I’ll be back

we had a fantastic experience at cinnamon village by habarana. The customer service was exceptional, and Mr. Anura, the security manager, stood out with his outstanding assistance. The ambience is so beautiful. Just like a typical village they have built the rooms. The food was amazing.. Live the spicy sri Lankan food. The staff is so friendly and Indunil gave us a good service..Lovely hospitality... We would like to request to clean and sweep the garden area cz we noticed none was cleaning the garden... Also to clean the roofs of the rooms too

This is a much cherished hotel that is famed for going the extra mile. My friends included a young boy and as usual the staff at the Village went the extra few miles. The food was sumptuous, the hotel organised visit to the Elephant park was breath taking, the new year games and frolics were fantastic and mostly of awe was the mind numbing Fire Limbo. A special shout out to Nilanga the F&B wizard and his amazing team. The restaurant ran like the kitchens of a royal household. Even picnic breakfasts at 5:30am - did not phase him. Kudos to them.

If you want to have a quiet, beuatyful and relaxing place this one it must be! The lodges are big and clean, to each room you've have an own terrace to enjoy the temperatures. The Service and the food is excellent - you can explore new food each night.

We stayed here for two nights during our Sri Lanka honeymoon trip and had a wonderful time - we wished we could have stayed a little longer! The staff are so friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and that everything is to your satisfaction - especially Chamal who gifted us an assortment of chocolates on our departure. After a super long drive from the airport our bags were completely taken care of whilst we were shown to the restaurant to enjoy a nice relaxed meal. We had a lovely towel/bed arrangement upon arrival with a complimentary bottle of red wine (which was delicious!) and an assortment of fruit. Sadly during our stay we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked so nice and inviting, surrounded by the nature of the hotel. The hotel itself is very open meaning you get to enjoy the warm outdoor climate and nature without sitting directly outside which we really liked. Random last point, but the coffee in this hotel is absolutely delicious also the buffet food is super tasty and very varied - we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and dinner meals across our two night stay

This was an amazing experience. The staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent and waiting staff very attentive. The management made sure we were always happy and made us a lovely packed lunch for our journey . The grounds and pool were really good. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel .

Great hotel and food. Cannot fault food or staff. Grounds are excellent. Room was fine. Flugelhorn not upgraded for USB. (Minor) Entertainment was live and excellent. Strange man hanging with hat, turns out he was keeping the wild animals away. So excellent food. A/c Could easily spend a week at this place. Recommended.

This village hotel is set in well kept grounds which are natural to the local area and gives the feel that you are in a local village albeit the cottages are of a much higher standard than any local might have! It really is a very nice village and is part of the Cinnamon group; I stayed in 4 Cinnamon hotels during my 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and by far this was the best. The restaurant was in a lovely setting by the pool surrounded by trees. Nice gentle and appropriate music in the evening. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff were polite, tried their best and were helpful. There was a hiccup with service on the 2nd day but once the problem was brought to the attention of the manager then the service improved and the issue was taken positively as a “learning exercise” which I thought was a good approach. I’d like to particularly like to mention Bandula, the manager, and two very good waiters, Hasitha and Gimhana.
