Hotel Carina-Entertainment Hotel

Terrible, dirty and very dirty ,old old hotel ! Even can't give one star!!. Do not go there ,there music playing till 2 am . Breakfast absolutely trash!. Food Terrible. We have changed the room which was dirty and electricity cables hanging in the bathroom and bedroom what it's really dangerous. They changed the room which it's actually in to the same condition. Pillows it's very old and uncomfortable.. mattress very hard, you cannot sleep.. people please don't go there!

Disappointing hotel experience. The hotel is run-down, old, and its glory days are long gone. The room was not clean, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows had what appeared to be bloodstains or some other dark spots, though the pillowcases were relatively clean. There seemed to be mold on the mattress as well. The staff appeared unprofessional, more like vendors from the local bazaar than hotel employees, and didn’t seem suited for the hospitality industry. We never felt completely safe during our stay, although in the end, there was no real danger. The worst part of our experience was that the staff didn’t seem to care about the hotel itself; their focus was on the “restaurant” or “Meyhane” (as it’s called in Turkish). From 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, they played loud, blaring music, turning the hotel into a disco rather than a peaceful place to stay. The music was so loud and the partying so intense that sleeping was impossible, and it all took place right outside our balcony. After the first night, I requested a different room. They moved me without any issue, but since the hotel is so small, the change only made a slight difference. The hotel is located past the old castle on top of a hill, making it difficult to walk up and down. There is a small bus (dolmuş) number 5, which costs only 20 lira per person, but the hotel is far from the city center with only a small kiosk nearby. The one positive aspect of this hotel is the great view from the rooms.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and the balcony offered a stunning sea view. It's in a great location, but the pool was out of service in early April. The breakfast was also good and the place is really clean.

Dont be fooled by photos...AVOID this place like you would the Plauge. Run down, Paint peeling of the walls, filty dirty,dusty. Noisey as hell. You won't get sleep. You will hear people in other rooms having S*x, No decent breakfast all turkish food... apart from a boiled egg. No hot water,no hairdryer, not even a kettle in room. Its a kip... Turkish music till 2am does not Cater for tourists at all. The only good thing is, the staff are nice. I would never stay her again even if they gave me a free room. Do not bring kids, or elderly...

The hotel is the filthiest we have ever stayed in. The walls in the rooms are stained. The door in the bathroom are warped from dampness.asnyou enter the hotel from the car park there is a bin full of wasted food and garbage.The toilets do not flush properly and . Then they have the loudest Turkish Music/Parties for external customers.(Not Guests) until 1.20am . It is a joke of a hotel and is disgusting and falling apart.

My wife and I have stayed at the Carina 4 times. Our most recent stay was terrible. Absolutely filthy dirty, staff are incompetent and our stay was truly memorable for all the wrong reasons. I asked reception for and iron, which from previous experience, most hotels have at least one. The manager looked up from behind his computer screen and said NO and flicked his hand at me like I was a stray cat. The pool is dirty with very strange tasting water in it. Most of the plants were dead around the pool and surrounding areas. The service from staff was terrible. Malibu and coke is the same in any language. After numerous attempts to order 2 drinks I contemplated on giving up. This is not to mention that every time food and drink purchased at the bar the prices seemed to dramatically fluctuate. There seemed to be a lot of staff at the hotel. I could not understand why the sun beds were all left discarded around the pool, not to mention how dirty and tattered they were. The stairs leading up to our room were littered with dirty plates, rubbish and dirty laundry everyday. The hotel was very poorly maintained (our toilet flush unit was hanging off) amongst many other faults dotted around the hotel. The breakfast was terrible, and the room it was served in was essentially a storage area. My wife and I are pretty easy going and in our 30’s. The music was 1. Awful. 2. Ear piercingly loud until 1am. Previous stays at the hotel we have seen harp players, violinists and great singers. Their was a pair of dirty underwear left in our flowerbed outside of our balcony (see photo) this remained there throughout the duration of our stay. This experience can only be described as shockingly bad.
