Perfect location close to kilimanjaro airport! Staff was friendly, greeted by Fatima, and had an amazing male waiter (forgot his name), staff was friendly. Place was clean, big room, hot water, and a pool. Food was really good too. They have a shuttle to the airport which is great! Can't beat the price and location.

Few rooms. Nice main building with the lounge and dining area. The service is quite slow. The bar is not well stocked. The rooms are minimal. We stayed only for the night and had to leave early. They packed breakfast boxes for us, which was pleasant.

The staff is all very nice but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The room is essentially a concrete block. It has AC which is a plus but it doesn’t work very well. Definitely not worth the money.

AVOID at all Costs!
I traveled for 26 hours, landed in Africa at 11pm and was told that this hotel was booked. I showed them my receipt, showing my confirmation and they still did not care. They gave my room away and the rude woman at the front desk repeatedly just said "we are full, we are booked" leaving my stranded to find a new place to stay at nearly midnight.
Don't stay here, it's not worth it.

This place is gorgeous!
Staff is amazing, beautiful rooms, great food.
Trust the process of getting there. The road in is a little discouraging, but you’ll be so happy when you arrive.
Highly recommend for a nearby airport stay.

We recently stayed at Moyoni Airport lodge for 2 nights. The accommodations are beautiful, clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the rooftop patio watching the sunset, or the amazing views of mt Kilimanjaro. The best thing going for this hotel though is the people. The staff are wonderful, friendly and make this lodge an incredible place to stay.

Not as close to the airport as I thought.
Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road.
But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
A lot of international tourists stay here

We only stayed in this hotel for a few hours prior to our flight back to the US. The hotel was a good option because it is located close to the airport. The free shuttle service to the airport is a big plus. The food was very good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but needs updating.
