Overall our stay at Intercontinental Haikou was ok. The lounge service was very good and polite. The pools were great.
However! We got first a room on the 10th floor (1006) which had a strong musty smell (see also photo attached) also you could smell and see from the room and corridors that the room/floor was not in the best shape. It has often happened for us with the hotels in China, however with the chain as InterContinental it should not be possible.
In the evening we complained about the room smell to the reception and they immediately changed the room to 9th floor which was in much better condition and not smelly. So I'm not sure if the musty room was given to us us as we were foreigners, but please be aware the rooms at least on the 10th floor are not smelling fresh and should not be given to anyone, the hotel management should make a quick renovation and review for these.
Everything else in the property was with no complaints. The pool area was great. Fantastic view from the balcony. The service worked very well and was polite.

海口一線海景，選擇華彩洲際，真心不錯！
洲際的服務還是非常不錯的，特別是Jenny Wu，出行前加微信，告知安排了生日佈置，還送了小蛋糕，氛圍感拉滿。
11層的天空吧，海景無敵，晚上喝杯雞尾酒，很是愜意！
贈送的旅拍也還不錯，半小時搞定，效率很高。

在旅途中隨意選擇的酒店沒想到體驗感滿滿，有jenny提前聯繫細心安排房間。得知有小朋友入住主動提供小朋友用品以及幫忙做無煙處理。入住有小情況發生，聯繫jenny都能馬上出現幫助到我，入住真的非常開心。

設施：一房一廳 風景不錯 陽台喝喝茶吹吹風很愜意
衞生：換一斤毛巾及時 需要拖線板 乳膠枕都能及時送過來
環境：每次去海口逛吃都會住這裏 習慣了 去哪裡都不遠 大唐喝咖啡 吃自助 樓頂酒吧看風景都不錯
酒店竹竿舞活動:很有趣的活動 吃好晚飯剛好遇到有活動 跳了一下 不容易 人家跳起來就很輕鬆 很有趣的活動 小朋友會喜歡
恰餐廳·天空吧落日雞尾酒1杯看看風景聊聊天不錯
自助餐五折後160幾 種類多 一家人用了晚餐 服務也很好
送了三位大堂飲品 喝了咖啡果汁 茶 小姐姐服務不錯
這次給了12樓的房間之前都是3 6樓 高點景色更好

酒店環境好，步行可以到海邊，到商場，吃飯、購物、散步皆宜。房間佈局合理，游泳池、温泉雖然不大，但是游泳的人不多，夜晚景色更加迷人，而且時有遊輪經過，深得孩子們的喜愛。值班經理Evelyn服務熱情周到，酒店各項服務介紹的十分詳細，雖然第一次入住，但是感受到了回家的親切與温馨。唯一遺憾的就是酒店電力檢修，夜間停電後，電視自動啟動後進入首頁面，屏幕特別亮影響了睡眠。4個枕頭都是同樣的軟度和高度，建議今後提供不同硬度和高度的，更多選擇更加方便。
