Haikou Weihao Hot Spring Hotel (Provincial Government Riyue Square) Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the duty-free shop. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel features a swimming pool and hot springs. The front desk provided complimentary hot spring tickets during our stay. The price was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I will definitely choose to stay here again for my next business trip.

The hotel boasts an excellent location – a quiet oasis in a bustling area, with numerous restaurants and bars nearby, offering plenty of dining and entertainment options. The rooms are a good size and clean, fitting for a refurbished older hotel. There's ample parking available, and the hotel pool is decent. The front desk service was fantastic! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and check-in was very efficient.

The hotel felt quite dated, and they were even doing plastering work on the canopy ceiling at the main entrance. Upon entering the room, there was an odd smell that they attempted to clear with a small blue-light air purifier. Mosquitoes were also a problem. The bathroom door's sliding mechanism was stiff, making it impossible to close properly. The shower hose was cracked; I initially thought it was just loose, but even after tightening it firmly, water still sprayed out. Despite these shortcomings, the service was quite good. They proactively offered a small fruit platter to compensate for the unsatisfactory room, and the next day, they even called me to say my child had left clothes behind.

Location: Excellent. Very convenient for getting around, right in the heart of Haikou city. Value for Money: Fantastic. Booked it for just over 200, and it even comes with a really nice pool. Facilities: A bit dated. During our two-day stay, only one elevator was operational, leading to lengthy waits. Service: Excellent and very friendly. As a Black Diamond member, I was given a room upgrade upon check-in. Breakfast: However, the breakfast was truly unappetizing. Even at the sole live noodle station, you had to cook the noodles yourself...

The hotel is very close to Riyue Plaza, just a three-block walk away, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The front desk staff even thoughtfully provided complimentary bottled water. Summer Drink: The welcome drink was delicious. Pool/Hot Spring: Both the swimming pool and hot spring were fantastic. After soaking in the hot spring, I had an incredibly deep sleep that night. I slept for a full 9 hours – it was definitely the deepest sleep I've had during my entire 7-day trip to Hainan.

The hotel appears to be quite old. There were black mold spots in various nooks and crannies of the bathroom, and the toilet bowl in our room even had urine stains on the inside. A few hours after we checked in, a staff member called to offer complimentary fruit and asked if everything was satisfactory. I mentioned the issues with the bathroom. They sent a housekeeper who, after trying to clean it, apologized and said the stains couldn't be removed, offering us a room change. However, we had already unpacked, and after seeing the alternative room, we decided it wasn't worth the hassle of moving again. The hotel pool was decent, and our child really enjoyed swimming in it. The highlight of the breakfast was the self-service noodle station. Overall, for this price, one can't be too picky.

This hotel has an outdoor swimming pool (adult & child) & 3 hot spring enclosure. Was so surprised that the hot spring was able to lessen my age spots & white spots on my hands

Great location. All around, sights, shops. Transport logistics is convenient. Friendly staff. Big and deep pool, hot springs.

Refurbished hotel in a quiet neighnourhood. Big modern rooms. Very happy. In this area right outside you also have several shops and restaurants. The train station and other areas are quite close. Bed is comfortable and the breakfast is okay. Good taste but not big selection.

A special thank you to Ken ( professional,nice ,who has a solution to everything) who made our stay so enjoyable. We will definetly choose this hotel whenever we will be coming to Haikou and it's mostly because of Ken. The hotel is nice and clean,the staff kind, the breakfast is good and the main attraction of the hotel, the hot spring pools, is so worth coming. I definetly recommand this hotel !

It’s an excellent hotel for traveling especially Haikou probably is the best hotel we can stay in

Right in the cbd area next to provincial government building. Lots of food options around. Facility is a bit older but price is very reasonable. Also a thermal spring outdoors.

Room is very and spacious. Breakfast selection is limited thou.

I stayed at room 202 and the place does look like the renovation is not complete. Got exposed wires showing when entered in the living room area. And the light opposite of bath tub doesnt turn off, cant find the switch to turn off.
