Pros: The hotel is quite close to Haikou East Railway Station. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. The room was spacious, clean, and free of any odd smells. The layout was reasonable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The USB panel switches and outlets were well-designed and very convenient to use! I booked a special offer room, which was great value for money.
Cons: The hotel has a cylindrical building design. My room was arranged in a 'pin' shape with two adjacent rooms, meaning our doors were very close to each other. At 2:28 AM, I was startled awake by a doorbell ring, followed by incessant knocking. I was genuinely frightened… Later, I realized the sounds were coming from next door. With the doors being so close, it really sounded like someone was knocking on my own room door! Also, the window faced the street, so the room was quite noisy, though this didn't bother me too much.
