The hotel I chose for this trip really gave me a full surprise! From the beginning of stepping into the lobby, the staff was warm and thoughtful, took the initiative to help with luggage, check-in was efficient and fast, and patiently introduced me to the hotel's facilities and surrounding play guides, which made me feel warm instantly.
The room I stayed in was clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making people sleep well all night. The room is fully equipped, the air conditioning and cooling effect is excellent, the hot water supply is stable, and the network signal is full, which fully meets my travel needs. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the quality of toiletries is also great, and the details are full of care.
The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied, with complete Chinese and Western dishes, fresh and delicious ingredients, the staff will replenish food in time, and the service is very intimate. The location is also very good, the surrounding transportation is convenient, close to the business district and attractions, it is very convenient to travel and play.
All in all, this is a very perfect stay experience, the price is super high, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this next time!

The location of the hotel is particularly good, the room environment is also good, the sun is full when the door is opened, the refrigerator and the kettle inside are still beautiful brands, there is coffee at the front desk downstairs, just tell the young lady in advance, it is quite quiet at night, and there are a lot of food on the street at the door. I came to Haida University for an event, and almost all the budget hotels around Haida had increased their prices significantly over the weekend, making them poor value for money. I stumbled upon the Vert Hotel, which opened in 2024, and figured it wouldn't be too bad, so I booked it. The lobby has a rather novel design, and the guest rooms are also very stylish, with a design that reminds me a bit of DoubleTree by Hilton. The bathroom's wet and dry separation is well-designed, and the toiletries smell nice too. The manager, a lovely lady, was incredibly enthusiastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Haikou. The only downside is the lack of breakfast; a room rate of over 200 RMB should really include a buffet breakfast. It would be perfect with breakfast!

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 25-minute drive from Haikou East Railway Station. It is a large resort mainly designed for golf visitors. The hot spring pools are located very close to the hotel building and stay open until 11 p.m. The breakfast starts as early as 6 a.m., which is convenient for early risers or guests catching a morning flight. The location is not very convenient, as the nearest shopping mall is about a 20-minute drive away. We booked a room for three adults, but the hotel only provided two complimentary entries to the hot spring pools. The third guest had to pay 88 RMB. Since the booking clearly included three adults, it would have been a nice gesture for the hotel to extend complimentary access for all three.
Overall, it’s a spacious resort with enjoyable hot springs.

GGuest UserFive stars are a must! Everything from check-in to check-out was incredibly satisfying. The service was thoughtful and meticulous, and the staff at Star (assuming 'star' refers to a specific hotel or brand, otherwise I'd clarify) were polite and gentle. The room was well-equipped, the pillows were super comfortable, clean, and odor-free. The cleanliness was spot on, showing attention to detail. The environment was quiet and peaceful, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. It was a bit foggy on the first day, but the second day was sunny, and the sea view from the room was truly refreshing. My child loved swimming, and the pool was also very clean. The gym area was spacious, and the equipment was great. Directly opposite the hotel is Wanlu Garden, and I even went for a run there in the morning. I highly recommend this place to everyone – book it, you won't regret it!

Don’t let the older exterior fool you — the inside of the hotel is surprisingly modern, comfortable, and well maintained.
We booked the family-friendly kids’ room, which was absolutely adorable and came with an extra bed for our 6-year-old. The room was very spacious and even included a separate play/mahjong area, complete with a cute little tent that our child loved.
The room itself was very clean, and the city view from the windows was beautiful, especially at night. We took a video tour of the room, so some of the screenshots may appear slightly blurry.
The hotel also has a small kids’ playroom on the first floor, which is really cute and a great bonus for families.
The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, especially the front desk team and Xiao Liang. They answered all my questions thoroughly and were very helpful. On our last night, I needed to use the laundry room but had trouble figuring out the machine settings. Even though it was late, a staff member came upstairs very quickly and patiently showed me how to use the washing machine — excellent service.
The location is another big plus. People’s Park is right next to the hotel, and we enjoyed walking there every morning to see locals exercising and socializing. There are also many malls and shopping centers nearby, all within walking distance, making it easy and fun to explore and window shop.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Haikou.

千万不要被酒店外观略显陈旧的建筑迷惑，酒店内部其实非常新、舒适，而且维护得很好。
我们预订的是亲子家庭房，房间非常可爱，还为我们 6 岁的孩子准备了加床。房间空间很大，另外还有一个独立的娱乐/麻将区域，里面有一个小帐篷，孩子特别喜欢。
房间整体非常干净，从窗户可以看到城市景观，尤其是晚上，夜景非常漂亮。我们拍了房间的视频介绍，所以截图可能会稍微有点模糊。
酒店一楼还有一个小型儿童游乐区，布置得很可爱，对带孩子的家庭来说是一个很贴心的加分项。
酒店的工作人员都非常友好、响应迅速，尤其是前台的几位小姐姐和工作人员小梁。他们耐心、详细地解答了我所有的问题，服务非常周到。我们入住的最后一晚需要使用洗衣房，但我不太会操作洗衣机。虽然已经很晚了，工作人员还是很快上楼，亲自教我如何使用洗衣机，服务真的非常贴心。
地理位置也非常棒。酒店旁边就是人民公园，我们每天早上都会去公园散步，看当地人锻炼身体、休闲聊天，氛围非常有生活气息。周边还有很多商场和购物中心，步行就能到，非常适合逛街和随意探索。
下次再来海口，我们一定还会选择住在这里。

Service: The service was excellent, very thoughtful. They were always proactive in handling things like lease renewals and check-outs.
There's a large lounge area on the first floor, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some cute kittens! 🥰
Right downstairs is Qilou Old Street, so you can easily pop down for some local food whenever you feel like it. 😌

However, there are some shortcomings which i personally don’t feel very pleasant about.
We reached there earlier than the supposedly check-in time as the flight was a redeye flight, we were told to wait. During waiting, we were told to fill up the visitor form but some of our phones can’t do the submission due to unreceived OTP.
Also, this is a residential apartment so Taobao items are not kept at front desk. It’s delivered to nearby pickup point which can be across the street or at the edge of the area.
Before entering the residential building, security guard will request for your details, once again. And every time you enter you have to get access from security. This is something that is very tedious, especially when the security swapped shift.
The house, although homely, was very humid and stale. There was supposedly an aircon in the living room but was removed. Visiting in summer was a torment. Unit is electrical saving in the sense that you have to activate the button behind the main door everytime you open and close the door. If you dont, it will deactivate the electrical supply.
With that said, you have to return to a extremely hot and humid unit every single day.
Kitchen was dirty, unkept. Toilets have foul smell of drainage, sewer flies were observed as well. Common toilet right beside the main door appeared to be translucent, which got the user getting paranoid over the silhouette when showering, especially in the night.
Housekeeping wasnt done for our 3 nights stay.
We came back to untidy room and was told that cleaner had knocked off despite uncompleted jobs.
When asked for essentials like toilet rolls and mineral water, it was the cleaner aunty who delivered, while taking her time and nagging at our request for delivery.
We paid for extension because our return flight was late, but cleaner aunty came in even before our agreed time. Just so that she can knock off on time after cleaning the unit.

The natural hot spring in the room offers the ultimate private bath experience; the hotel's scenery is also stunningly beautiful, with every corner being a great spot for photos! 📸🌿
🚗Transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to reach both the city center and surrounding attractions. This trip to Haikou was made even more perfect with the Xinyuan Hot Spring Hotel! 🌟
This is my second stay at this hotel, and I believe I won't be disappointed next time either!

FFahad TufailWe booked a room to have a short trip to haikou. hotel location is good. House keeping work is very satisfying. There is no Lobby Lounge, the one had was not operational. Very less Breakfast items. Not much options in Breakfast. No good amenities in room. not even slippers for the shower area.
