Hotel Hakodate Hiromeso

It's about a 50-minute drive from Hoshino Resorts in Hakodate to this hotel. The hotel offered free shuttle service, and on the return trip, they took us directly to the Hakodate ferry terminal for Aomori – so thoughtful! We had two nights and four meals. Both the buffet breakfast and the kaiseki cuisine were delicious. The sulfur spring and Shigesō spring were excellent – ​​high-concentration spring water. We were treated like royalty and had a great experience. We'll definitely come back!

The room was terrible. It was the first time I'd ever seen tatami mats covered with carpets, and the blankets were laid directly on the carpet to sleep on. I almost doubted if it was a Japanese hotel. My family members are allergic to the carpet material, and their skin itched so badly they scratched themselves raw. We arrived late at night, and there wasn't a convenience store downstairs. If we wanted to get something to eat, we had to drive a long way. The only downside was that the hot spring was genuine sulfur. I strongly suggest Ctrip remove this hotel from their listings; it's not a suitable place for a vacation. 🏖️

About 40 minutes by car from Hakodate Airport. Ofuna Onsen Kami no Yu. I used it for a quick bath. The open-air bath has a milky sulfur spring, and it's a nice hot spring with clear sulfur spring water. The indoor bath is a free-flowing sodium bicarbonate spring. This is also good. There is also a large rest area. The bathing fee is 490 yen.
