Yoshiike Ryokan

The hotel's location is excellent. The bus to Owakudani leaves right in front of the hotel. However, there was no snow, so the outdoor views from the hotel weren't particularly appealing, just mountains and bare branches. Since we didn't opt for a meal, the two futons were already laid out for us quite early.

The room was fine, and the service was good.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, especially the Japanese garden 🏡 which is incredibly picturesque. Even though it's winter, the plum blossoms and cherry blossoms 🌸 in the courtyard are already in bloom, making for a pleasant stroll. There are also many cultural relics. The guest rooms are a bit dated, and the facilities are just average.

The lady at the front desk spoke incredibly fast, regardless of whether you understood her or not. She quickly scribbled on a piece of paper, rapidly fulfilling her duty to inform, clearly a very indifferent person. When the air conditioner started in the room, it sounded like a turbocharger; the equipment is old. In the morning, a broadcast came on in the room, asking people to go to the parking lot (it seemed to be related to a fire). I quickly got dressed and ran to the front desk, only to be told that it was a false alarm due to a faulty fire prevention device. The above are the facts. My opinion is that this place is terrible. The facilities are old, and the service is poor. ❌
