Our stay at Hakone Ginyu is truly amazing and so far our best experience in Japan. The view, dinner and break and room are incredible. The moment you step in, you will simply say goodbye to your shoes and the noisy world outside and enjoy the great time in the hotel. All the staff are super professional and friendly. The lady who took care of our room service served our dinner and breakfast with extreme care and top profession, she simply made us feel like at our 2nd home in Japan. I will definitely revisit in the future and bring my family here again.

The service was excellent; a staff member even ran out to the intersection to see me off when I left. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. The sliding doors, wardrobe, and even walking on the floorboards can be a bit noisy.

The rooms are a bit dated but well-maintained. The hot springs are comfortable, and dinner was abundant. The service attitude was excellent. It was truly a great experience. You can see the pictures for more details. I recommend staying here.

Our one night stay at this ryokan was marvelous. It's right in front of a bus stop which was very convenient. They had someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance and made us feel very welcomed from the moment you step in. The room was beautiful and cozy during January winter. All toiletries were readily available so there's no need to bring anything apart from yourselves and some change of clothes. The private onsen was amazing with a scenery to boot. Dinner and breakfast served was delicious and very authentic Japanese cuisine that highlights the natural flavors. We couldn't get enough of the food. Our friendly server (might be Yuka. Forgot her name so sorry) did an amazing job giving an explanation of each of the dishes (in Japanese) The only complaints we have were that they do not have coffee in the room, you can get it from the lobby bar with coupons provided, but we weren't too fond of getting out of the room early in the morning. The other one was that awkwardly situated urinal that's right in front of the toilet so it is in your face if you lean forward while you're doing your business. Overall, it's value for money and would love to go back there and perhaps more than one night stay the next time.
