We booked the “time out in the Sauerland”. Everything was as promised. We booked room #10 because it had a separate living room in addition to the bedroom. A large balcony with a view of a large green meadow. The bedroom was large, the bed was super comfortable and everything was just right. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The evening menu was simply sensational! Homemade dips to start with, great homemade soups, the main courses were outstanding and the desserts were simply beyond words. The Dollberg couple were the absolute heart of the house. Courteous, friendly, nothing was too much for them. Absolutely helpful when it came to excursions and hikes. The homemade products are really recommended, especially the jam (apple & ginger). The “Liesetal” circular hiking trail is right on the doorstep and really recommended. All in all, we will 150% come back.

Wir haben eine Woche im Landhaus bei Familie Dollberg verbracht und sind hochzufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bot gut Platz für unser Gepäck. Das Bad war sauber und funktional ausreichend (Dusche). Der Ort Liesetal ist nur klein und daher erschien es uns sinnvoll mit Halbpension zu buchen. Auch dies erwies sich als hervorragende Idee, die Küche wusste uns jeden Abend mit einem schönen Menü zu erfreuen. Wir empfehlen nachdrücklich für Wanderer, da direkt am Haus zahlreiche Wanderwege entlanglaufen.

Wir hatten von Freitag bis Sonntag mit der Familie gebucht um das Wochenende wandern zu gehen. Der Empfang war herzlich, die Zimmer großzügig und sauber, jedes mit Balkon. Als Geschwister hatten mein Bruder und ich nebeneinander liegende Zimmer mit einem gemeinsamen Balkon, auf dem wir mit der Familie nach dem Abendessen noch gemütlich zusammensitzen konnten. Das Essen war Frisch und selbst gekocht auf hohem Niveau. Das Fleisch war regional, das Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau. Auch die Wurst beim Frühstück war teils selbstgemacht. Vom Hotel aus konnte man eine schöne Wanderung beginnen. Insgesamt war es ein wirklich tolles Wochenende in diesem wirklich netten Hotel. Trotzdem es eher ländlich war war es sehr modern (einchecken am iPad, online Tageskarte etc.) Vielen Dank für das schöne Wochenende! Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
