The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standing. It was so poor that we decided to check out one day early.
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the outdoor facilities, which were closed. We were not informed about that fact.
The food at the hotel is acceptable, but be prepared to wait a very long time. We had to skip the dessert because no one was there to take our order…
Breakfast, however, was good and one of the few positive service experiences.
Overall, there was a lack of information, support, and communication from the staff. It was difficult to get help or clear answers, and there was no sense of welcome at all. A hotel can have beautiful rooms and facilities, but without proper service, it’s hard to enjoy the stay. Feeling uncomfortable and ignored defeats the purpose of staying in a hotel of this level.
