The location in that city I think is very good regarding sea view, some restaurants outside and you are very close to the ships leaving (it depends what you want... if you like City-like stay, you have to choose ankther locations but I think anyway the places are not so far away and easy to get everywhere (ok maybe in main season not so easy)
The hotel gave me immediately an upgrade, teh room was extremely big, clean ,the view very good. All you need, and breakfast was also okay. The only thing: there's an open disco 1 km away, very very loud still.. so I went to that place to check (in anger) but I found out: actually a nice place to visit, sitting outside at the beach hahaha so not that bad.
Tip: regarding the ships, they all folow the same route and stop at same places, but have very very differing prices ..

Had a very bad experience in changing a booking in this hotel. By mistake while refreshing the page dates were nulled and booked from today till tomorrow. Trip.com contacted Hotel but they showed full ignorance to the situation. Finally they charged me full stay without me even reaching the hotel. Without hesitation, without a sign of favor, without even a word. Still plan my trip to Vietnam but no plans to stay in this chain anymore.

Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel is quite clean. Just one thing we are not happy is the toilet flush button were spoilt and they we couldn’t flush the toilet, the hotel infrastructure were old and seem like were not renovated for quite long. Breakfast buffet are not really nice and friendly with foreigners.

Very good, highly recommended to stay. I personally think it is the best hotel to stay in when visiting Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. The price/performance ratio is very high. The hotel is right across the street from the theme park. It is only a 500-meter walk to the cruise pier. The hotel's sea view rooms (X06---X16, Very cool. The hotel breakfast can compare with domestic ones. Another thing: if the hotel understands Chinese, everything can be liberated. Including taxis, chartered cars, ferry tickets to Cat Ba Island in Halong Bay and more!

The location is good as it is across from Sun World and on the main road.
I think the service is good~^^
Each room will have a different view, but
I think the room I'm in is at the back, but the view is good^^
The breakfast was good and there were many kinds so I didn't have enough.
But not all rooms are the same.
I think the shower line is short and water comes out from the top.
Maybe I can't do it, but it doesn't come out.
And even though I turned it to cold water, lukewarm water comes out.
