Aroma Ha Long Hotel

Very nice dormitory. The staff can hardly speak English or Japanese, but they are very kind. The dormitory feels more like a capsule hotel. There are only 2 washbasins and 2 toilet showers with washbasins, so there are not many toilet showers, but the hot water comes out well. Also, there was shampoo and conditioner, but for some reason there was no body soap. Breakfast was free and you could choose from several types, and I had bread and scrambled eggs. In addition, the hotel offers many Halong Bay tours, and I ordered a tour of Sung Sot Cave, Ti Top Island, boat tour, and lunch included (buses depart from and pick up at the hotel after the tour), and 800,000 VND, plus a bus to Hanoi ( This also starts and ends at a hotel (if it's in Hanoi's Old Quarter, we'll pick you up near the hotel you want to go to).I applied for a tour that cost 240,000 dong, totaling 1,040,000 dong (approximately 6,500 yen in Japanese yen), and I enjoyed it very much, so I decided to take this tour. If you are staying at a hotel, it is best to take the bus to the destination and then book the hotel tour and return bus. There were buses going to several destinations including Hue and Hanoi. Highly recommended for people who want to stay cheaply in a dormitory. The hotel is well-illuminated and bright, so it's easy to find the location even at night.

It is located on Bai Chay Beach in Halong Bay. It is about a 5-minute walk to the beach, so it is very convenient for relaxing on the beach.

The room was okay, but the upper bunk was a little inconvenient (the iron frame had many sharp corners). The location was good, not far from the cruise terminal, Dragon Park, and Queensbay Cableway Station. Towels and toothbrushes are not provided. Breakfast is optional.

I had a great time in a spacious, clean, and quiet place. However, there were not many restaurants nearby and it was so quiet that it was difficult to have dinner.

The room is on the 5th floor and the air conditioning is not very good. The air conditioner and fan are used together all night. The staff cannot speak English and the boss is difficult to communicate in English. Fortunately, the hotel can rent motorcycles when traveling. It is quiet and there are no people around, which is quite boring.
