What a lovely family run hotel We had a blast all the family are so approachable and helpful, nothing was too much. Rooms are clean and bright with air con and fan above bed Bathroom well appointed wet room. View of the lake from rear balcony and you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach as it’s 2 mins walk from hotel Breakfast is a great offering of mixed very fresh fruit and then comes a lovely dhal and coconut rotis Fresh toast and butter jam and pots of tea or coffee Main menu has many tasty meals large portions and good quality and it’s all worth the wait as all food is cooked to order so just relax and chat,watch the chip monks playing in the trees or the peacock on the roof

Picked up from the airport, very nice to be so unburdened. We were welcomed with a delicious fruit juice and a nice breakfast, nothing is missing. Within a few minutes you are on a beautiful beach, very impressive! In the evening we enjoyed a night walk accompanied by a guide from the turtle watch. An absolute must! On request you can take the tuk-tuk to another beach bar near Tangalle or a guesthouse / hotel with a swimming pool on the beach where you can stay for a day. Thanks Mr. Rukman, Taxa and your wife for everything! So are you looking for a nice place? We recommend you to go here!

Large modern room with super comfy bed. The place is 100 meters to the beach to watch the turtles laying eggs at night which was just amazing. The staff & food were wonderful. There food menu you can find here.

Positive: The family running the hotel is very sweet and kind. It’s also located close to the beach where you can watch Turtles, so that’s a plus.
Negative: Unfortunately our room was very dirty. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all after the previous guests left. Many, many hair on the bed, pillow and ground. Dead insects on the floor, in the bathroom and the mosquito net above the bed too. 0/10 for cleanliness.
Our checkin was a little rough also, as nobody was there when we arrived. The guy who finally came after 20min of waiting barely spoke any English, was kind though.

I want to thank you for the hospitality of the hosts of this house! Very cozy homerooms. An incredibly beautiful place and a beach with wild turtles that you can watch at night. so we want to go back!

Turtle Paradise er et sted som absolutt kan anbefales om man skal den veien. Standarden kan virke litt lavere ved første øyekast, men man finner raskt ut at dette er en liten oase et stykke fra Tangalle sentrum. Kort spasertur til stranden med skilpadde-sightseeing. Litt for lang avstand til sentrum, men dette gjenspeiler seg i en pris som vi faktisk opplevde som for lav i forhold til hva man fikk tilbake. Rene og pene rom, et kjøleskap som ikke virket, men det regner jeg med de løste etter at vi dro. Desidert den beste frokosten vi hadde på hele vårt opphold i Sri Lanka.
