The room is very private, surrounded by the sounds of small jungle animals. The thatched house is also very beautiful. Local drinks and snacks are prepared. The swimming pool in the backyard is amazing during the day. In the morning, when I went from the room to the public swimming pool, I passed by the jungle and monkeys jumped around. I saw a lot of big lizards and small lizards on the ground. The hotel's Safari navigator is very experienced and it is easy to find various animals in the national park.

Overall it's good, the room is super big, better than the room of Relais & Chateaux next door, but Relais & Chateaux is more popular. Nestled on the beach in Yala wildlife park, a collection of luxury cabins. Unbelievable location, the cabin design is wonderfully luxurious and in keeping with nature, and we had an ocean view. Our own outside decking and plunge pool were perfect. Unfortunately only one night for us, with an afternoon and morning safaris that were fantastic. We saw a family of elephants right up close and a pair of leopards - but we were told we had been very, very lucky. Lots of other wildlife including crocodile, deer, buffalo, peacocks and a wide range of other colourful and different birds. Hotel staff super helpful and the safari guide and driver amazing. A must, if only for one night like us, if you visit Sri Lanka. Unreservedly recommend.

Could not fault our stay in any way. From the service to the food and all in between. Life is but for creating memories and this we did. And yes you know when you take a photo of the pillow label that they are the best. Just have to work out how to import them.
