"I did not know, it will be Pride saturday (weekend) that day.. It was busy and loud area. The price was higher then usually because of that reason. I did not really checked the reviews, coz that was my emergency stay (i could not get on my flight). Anyway, everything was more expensive than in normal days.
I did not expect any warm greeting, so as I know in germany is not really about prioritizing the guests instead of chatting with mates..
The dorms are ok, nothing special, you have in every dorm toilette and bathroom, they are small but well maintained.
The beds are comfy and clean, if somebody is sleeping on the top of bed and moving, you will notice it.
I missed the curtain to have some privacy and dark to close my bed part. Not everyone is respecting that the people try to sleep or they dont feel good.
Road - street under the hostel is not really safe for single woman traveller, or maybe it was my personal feeling. I would not walk and hang around during dark.
The location is close to train station, for one night it is perfect."

"The holiday inn was beautiful and the room is spacious and had everything you need for a trip away. I stayed for 3 days but came at a bad time as majority of things are closed on Sunday and Monday, but the bar had many drinks and food selection if you like to sit and have a relaxing time. I would definitely come here again as it’s in a good location and not too far from the airport. The staff were lovely and welcoming and very helpful to any questions I had. The cleanliness of the room was amazing and comfortable."

Location itself is slightly let down by a lack of nearby restaurants and bars in the nearby area although the hotel had a very pleasant top floor bar with nice music on TV screens with spectacular views and lovely staff."

"A lot of the things in the room like the fridge was not turned on and it was not explained to me that I needed to turn this on so my food spoiled. The towel dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. Hand sanitiser on all floors were empty and when I asked someone to refill them, they did not. a few days later when I checked the sanitises was still empty on all floors in the gym area. There is only one washer and dryer and you have to wait hours for the person before you to finish. The kitchen area was very small and there was no place to dry your dishes. Not the best place for me and I will not be going back."

"The hotel is around 7 mins walk from the Hamburg main train station and the S-bahn is just right outside the hotel. This hotel is perfect in terms of the shopping and food options around it.
The hotel is very nice with Rituals product in the toilet which we love. They allowed us to check in early as well upon becoming a member."

GGuest User4 day couple trip. Used 2bed room with private bathroom. 10 min walking distance to Berliner Tor Station (U-Bahn/S-Bahn). There is a huge discount supermarket right by the station. Mostly a hostel building with many young residents. Bedsheets/towels/bathroom facilities all clean. Tv did not work. Walls, drapes look old, but not dirty. Slight noise over the night due to young residents. Decent and crowded lobby geared towards young residents. Long lines for non-automated checkin. Overall, price/ service is a perfect match.

GGuest UserAs stated on the website, this hotel is directly opposite the Hamburg Railway Station and this adds to hotel being super handy to all attractions in Hamburg. Also the double decker tours buses leave from the station area. The main LGBTQ bars are also near here. (15 mins walk) My room was located in the middle of the building, so there was no street noise. However, the view was internal - between two buildings and there was very little natural light coming in. The room has no air-conditioning, so during the day it can be a little hot here in summer, but this was not a problem during the evening.. The hotel uses keys not electronic cards, so a little inconvenient. However, the biggest highlight was the included breakfast. Excellent selection of hot and cold dishes updated regularly by hotel staff. There are definitely cheaper places in Hamburg with better room facilities, but the location will always be a winner.

GGuest UserОтель находится рядом озером. Есть где прогуляться заняться пробежкой. Вечером на озере с отличным видом можно поужинать. Сам отель удивил спокойным чистым но ером в дополнительно зданни с балконом во внутренний двор, но в номере нет ни холодильника ни столовых принадлежностей. Есть халаты и тапочки. В общем можно рекомендовать если район устраивает (15 минут пешком до главного ЖД вокзала).

TTW20242 elevators work well. Sorry for my mistake in previous review I thought 1 didn’t work. I pressed the wrong button. 1 brings you down the breakfast area and the working space which look very bright, colorful and energetic. 1 brings you down near the Reception area. They sell coffee in the Lobby too.
The housekeeping staff never cared if I put up the Do Not Disturb sign. He just opened the room without knocking. Another male staff the next day also knocked my door when I put up that sign again. They want to empty the trash daily. I used my nail and could take out the black mold in the shower room wall. They should brush the walls and brush the area around the drainage in basin.
You can use the microwave, electric kettle and pan to cook your foods in the Guest Kitchen. Saw the laundry room but don’t know if that is free.
Can walk for 2 km to visit the famous Elbphilharmonie. Get a free ticket at the entrance, go up the long escalator and view the city.

I wanted a room which didn't need to be fancy but cheap and not a dormitory room and this hostel had the one.
the hostel is well located too, I could walk to Hamburg harbor.
The room was small and not soundproof but it fulfilled my needs.

YYONGThere is parking lot, service is OK, check out is 11 o'clock. Very unfriendly, not knocking the door without explaining the reason, unable to communicate in English, except the front desk. The facilities are very poor. The room is small and not as good as a small hotel in the country.
