A mainstay in the city; the towering jewel in Hamilton's craggy crown of flatlands and factories. Although somewhat *****ped down due to COVID and the march of the years, this Sheraton cannot be beat when it comes to location. It's lodged in a complex that includes the Art Gallery of Hamilton as well as the glittering glamour of Jackson Square, that ever-shuddering heart of the living city. It's always great to spend an evening here, although, as usual, I wish they provided a robe!

The bed was very big and parking was inconvenient. There was infrastructure construction going on around the area. I asked the front desk to borrow a kettle and got a quick response. Parking costs 18 dollars per night, and there is a large supermarket nearby.

The hotel is relatively old, and there is a shopping mall next to it. There is a large supermarket opened by Chinese people, and there are Chinese food in it. But there are many strange people near the hotel, it doesn't feel good.

Overall it's good, better than expected, the furniture is more stylish, the things are more practical, and the transportation is convenient. Only breakfast is not available for the time being, but there is a breakfast stall across the road.

The lobby is gorgeous and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The club lounge was really nice to have breakfast and just relax and look out the windows. The pool room seemed a bit too cool for us to take a dip, which was disappointing. The room was clean, but was showing some age. Nothing was overly worn out, but you can see where it would need some attention and a refresh. The room was quiet and even though we had neighbors the first night, we could barely hear them, which was nice. It was also located right next to FirstOntario Centre and connected to the mall, which was very convenient. The restaurant also had really good food!! Despite the room needing an update, this was a nice place to stay and I would visit again if I'm ever in the area. Please keep in mind, the underground parking garage can be tight. Larger vehicles may have some low ceilings and tight corners to contend with.
