Moyen pour un 4 étoiles. Bouffe médiocre, service moyen et chambres un peu vétustes.

We have just come back from a fantastic 10 nights holiday. Granted the rooms are dated, but kept very clean by the hard working house keepers. The food is hit and miss but you can always find something to eat, however it would have been nice to see the evening waiting staff in the restaurant working as a team rather than letting one waiter get over whelmed by his section, when my husband cleared our table he got told off by the two waiters doing nothing, saying it was this other waiters job. There is no I in team. The beach can rival most destinations and the pool was great. The sun beds could do with being monitored as people left them all day without being sat on. The bar staff on an evening are fantastic, cannot fault them. I had a magic glass that was never empty. Now leaving the best till last, the entertainment team can rival most places. They kept you on your toes, they interacted with you, to perfection. The evening shows were brilliant, and made you laugh. Rio kept his team ship shaped. Zan(Roman Reigns) was fantastic, Mo ( I don’t care) was interesting, I did aqua areobics with Fabio, but the biggest shout out to Tibo and Lou Lou who bought a smile to everyone’s faces. Thank you lads for brilliant time, we hope to see you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, its a hotel full of character. The food is good and plentiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The animation team were great and worked really hard. The rooms are good, lots of space, well airconditioned. The gardens around the hotel were lovely and so well kept by the gardening team, these ran down to a lovely, wide stretch of beach. The highlight for us was the stables. with a good exercise menage. The horses are Arabs, very well cared for by the team led by Imad Mansori, who was great. We did several early morning or evening rides along the beach at a pace to suit our level, so we did gallop, but the horses were responsive so only went if you wanted them to. My daughter also went swimming with her horse which will be a lifetime memory for her! The horses were such a bonus to the holiday and would make us come back to the Oranger's Resort, they are such a point of difference! There was a lot of other stuff to do, two lovely tennis courts ( you do need to get better racquets) two petanque pistes, archery was great fun too and there was a lot else beside. Its not a five star, ultra modern, characterless hotel where every one just sleeps, this place ouzes charachter and I strongly recommend it as a great introduction to Tunisia.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in May. It was a lovely experience. The bedroom was spacious and had a large balcony to sit which is important for me. The food was super, and plenty of choice. The entertainment team were at hand each day to advise on all the activities available, like Yoga, Darts, aqua aerobics, boules. The staff were super friendly amd approachable. Plenty of activities and enjoyment for those interested day and night.

This was our first time at Les orangers beach. The hotel has an amazing beach and beautiful gardens. with plenty of sunbeds, you also don't have to worry about getting a sunbed at the pool always plenty free. The waiter service for drinks around the pool was very good. The staff are very friendly and work very hard . There is also a disco. We had a sea view room and the view was fantastic. Unfortunately we found the room very dated , some of the electric sockets didn't work. Dont expect any drinks in the mini fridge, There was a shower over the bath, which flooded the floor every time used it. We found the food let the hotel down. Mostly liver and grilled fish, and some of this wasn't cooked properly. We don't go on holiday to eat chips, but believe me, that would have been heaven. Unfortunately, only had chips once in a week. We are no way fussy eaters, but there's a limit to how many times we wanted to just eat pizza or pasta . We did try the a la cartes, with high hopes, but this was also very hit a miss. The weather for late April was lovely. We would definitely return to Tunisia, but I'd need to research the food quality next time.

Firstly please be wary about the positive comments as looking at the majority they are submitted by a reviewer who has only ever commented on this one place. Most of them also make specific mention to certain members of staff which I find very suspicious. Also if you note the negative comments they are all by persons who have submitted numerous reviews in the past. This hotel seriously requires some attention as it has such good potential. It is situated on a lovely sandy beach and has a lovely lay out but it is very tired and could do with some investment to bring it up to scratch. The positives for this hotel are that it has the basics covered - it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and it has a beautiful private beach. That said there are a few major issues one of which are previously mentioned by other reviewers. On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were semi helpful but failed to give any proper instruction around where to get your towels etc and were very hit and very reluctant to change money to small amounts for tips. The main issue was the food - I appreciate you are in Tunisia but the food variety is dire. Every day exactly the same bland food. Displayed within the dining hall without any chiller cabinets so everything is room temperature. The fresh counters for pasta, pizza and the 'meat or fish of the day' are staffed poorly so the queues are long and slow. The breakfast is the best meal of the day due to the fresh egg station. The rooms are very dated and noisy so ear plugs are recommended. I was on the ground floor near to reception and was disturbed throughout the night from noisy people walking past the room. The air conditioning is good, shower hot and powerful and the cleaners work hard to keep the scruffy rooms clean. The TV did not work, the phone to reception didn't have any numbers on to ring and the shower screen let the majority of the water flood the floor. My toilet was broken and reported it twice with no response so in the end the cleaner repaired it for me. The pool area is a nice size but the beds are snapped up from about 0600hrs every day - plus the entertainment is very loud and on for the majority of the day so if you want any peace and quiet then head to the beach area. The staff are really helpful and there are plenty of beds. The indoor pool if you can find it is lovely and is often very quiet so an ideal place to escape the noise. Overall I found the hotel adequate for the money paid but that said it is sadly lacking in some areas and as such I will not be visiting again.
