Fairfield Inn & Suites Springfield Enfield

We were welcomed nicely with two amazing front desk representatives. Received clean and comfy room. It was day before Christmas, and we were told the timing for breakfast . Next morning we found out there no breakfast served at all! Because it’s Christmas!! It’s like you book the flight , but no flight attendants cuz they are on vocation 😀 All hotels guests were very confused, no one received any note about it, we were very disappointed because one of the reason we pay more for this hotel -is breakfast, since we were driving with kids. Don’t recommend this hotel .

As they say first impression last. My first night at the property around 11pm I was very tired after my flight only to realize when I was ready to lay down that the sheets on my bed was dirty. I was very disappointed and to make it worst this was very First stay at a Marriott Resort.

The hotel was also hosting the Adirondack Thunder hockey group there while I stayed for business. The kids (and their parents) were loud and uncontrolled both nights. In the cafe, in the lobby, in many of the gathering rooms ON THE MAIN FLOOR that was way too loud the ENTIRE EVENING both nights. Kids running in the halls, kids screaming in the group rooms, kids loud and rude in the cafe, kids loud and rude in the lobby. I hope they did well at the tournament and I hope the hotel made a good pile off their reservation because everyone else who stayed there those night did NOT have a good time. Way to represent, Adirondack Thunder! Great manners and I can tell those boys will grow up just like the entitled dads that were not watching their behavior in public at all. Front desk never answered phone when I called for help with the chaos in the halls.

We arrived after midnight and were told we had to wait 30 minutes for an "audit" to complete. Needless to say, after 10 hours in the car with two kids we weren't impressed - especially with the clerk who told us we should have arrived earlier and that it was our fault.

Marion was a very welcoming receptionist and hotel very clean and up kept Breakfast was good

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Heard a few planes overhead while trying to sleep and also had some noisy guests with doors opening and closing and voices around midnight and later. Did manage to get some sleep anyway.

Very nice place to stay. King size room with couch was spacious and had plenty of usb ports and a large flat screen TV. We were on the 1st floor and ice machine was located on the 2nd. The ice machine was quirky but an employee was in the area and helped figure it out. The hotel was conveniently located just outside the city. We would stay here again.
