Travelodge Doncaster

Beware there are car thieves operating in the area. Our vehicle was stolen within 2 hours of parking it there. The hotel was quite comfortable and was generally clean. Booking and check in was easy and there is a garage, Greggs and Burger King on the same site. However, the CCTV of the Travelodge only covers the front section (the area clostests to Greggs etc) clearly. The lighing on the car park shines directly into the security camera obsuring the view of the back section so be careful where you park. Unfortunately our vehicle was not parked in the best place and was stolen within 2 hours of parking. Apparently this is a known issue but no preventative measures have been taken. We wanted to warn others of this as we were stranded 3 1/2 hrs from home. Although I will say the manager on duty was very helpful.

Best Travelodge I’ve stayed in, rooms were very clean and beds were perfect and comfy. The staff were amazing and would help with anything you needed. Would absolutely stay here again, there’s a Burger King and Greggs and many delivery options, restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive away. The hotel is definitely pet friendly

Warm and clean , there’s a Greggs and Burger King and 24hr garage/shop next door, Car park is very uneven and dirty as is the area around the hotel , littler etc But it’s ok, room was ok but bath is tiny

Very clean and tidy this is my fourth time using travelodge and I have always had a good experience up and down the uk the staff are always friendly and very attentive and I would always advise having a full English in the morning nice and freshly cooked

Arrived after a long and tiring journey in poor weather conditions. The receptionist on duty, Andrew, was great, friendly and helpful. Room clean. No issues

Plenty of parking upon arrival and the reception area was clean and tidy. The staff member was warm and welcoming. Upon entering the room it was exactly what I expected from a Travelodge - Basic necessities however no hair dryer in the room. Only two towels in the bathroom, no hand towels or floor towel and there were two of us staying. The room was large but basic. The bed linen was extremely uncomfortable and rough to the touch which made for a horrid nights sleep and there was also what I thought was a blood splatter stain on the bed sheet. The tap in the bathroom over the sink only ran cold and couldn’t get any hot water from it. Located literally just off the A1 but couldn’t hear the traffic from our room. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again but for £45 for a stop over quick place to rest on our journey it had to do. But wouldn’t stay again.
