Orange Hotel ( Songcheng Branch，Xihu Distric,Hangzhou)

Excellent! Very close to Songcheng. The room had a large window, letting in plenty of sunlight and offering a great view. I left my phone at the hotel and they did a great job keeping it safe for me. Thumbs up! 👍

This Orange Hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Hangzhou Song Dynasty Town. It's about a 20-minute drive to West Lake. I stayed for two nights and found it quite comfortable and clean. It would be even better if the front desk service was more polite and professional.

The location is excellent, right next to Songcheng and Intime, making it convenient for both entertainment and dining. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy with a great view, and very comfortable to stay in, with no noise at night.

The hotel's location is pretty good, making it convenient to get to Songcheng, and the food at Xintai Department Store was also quite nice. We even stayed in a river-view room with electric curtains, which was generally fine. However, there were a few minor flaws that I hope can be improved upon. Firstly, regarding item security: I left an umbrella in the umbrella area by the entrance, and it was gone after I went out. The hotel staff said they weren't responsible and that I was on my own, and they wouldn't even let me see the surveillance footage. It was a perfectly good, large umbrella, and it's a real shame it's just gone. Secondly, the TV remote control wasn't working well, and despite reporting it, there was no improvement. Thirdly, the complimentary Lingyin Temple guided tour was decent, but I noticed that one of the prayer bead bracelets they gave us seemed to be missing two beads – one had 18, the other 16. The 16-bead one was quite difficult to wear, digging into my wrist. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, and since it was free, I'm not going to complain too much. However, the meeting point for the map was incorrectly located, about 1.2 kilometers off from the actual spot. If anyone plans to go, be sure to check the location beforehand to avoid going out of your way.

Facilities: The air conditioning was terrible; there was no temperature control. In winter, you either had to leave it on and roast (it got over 30 degrees Celsius), or turn it off and freeze at night. This is the first time I've encountered such an issue, and the front desk offered no solutions. They suggested opening a window to cool down when it was too hot? What were they thinking in the middle of winter? Unbelievable. Service: Not worth the price. Environment: There were signs of paint peeling on the room walls. Cleanliness: Average. Overall, my experience was very poor. I couldn't sleep well because it was either too cold or too hot all night. I do not recommend it!

The hotel environment is lovely and very peaceful. The room is spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped. The staff are warm, attentive, and patiently answer any questions. It's also very convenient to attractions like West Lake from here. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit the Zhejiang Provincial Museum.

It's quite close to the Zhejiang Museum, and overall it's decent. The entire hotel smells of oranges – even the shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. If you don't like oranges, you might want to reconsider. The front desk service was a bit chaotic and could use some improvement.
