Fillmore Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Lakeside Jiefang Road)

Location: Super convenient, close to the train station and also within walking distance to West Lake. There's a direct bus to Lingyin Temple for just 2 yuan, which is great. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic, I really liked the room's layout. Facilities: The only downsides were the lack of a weighing scale in the room and the water heater was too cold (it was set at a constant 38 degrees). Service: The robot service was adorable and very convenient! 🥰

Excellent service all around! The front desk staff were very attentive and welcoming, even giving out gifts during the holiday season. A big thank you to the front desk team for their warm hospitality.

This was probably the worst hotel I stayed at during this trip. I understand having a windowless room, but why put a fake window with bright lights in it? It just made the room feel even more stuffy. The worst part was the lights couldn't be turned off at night, and the curtains let in a lot of light, making it impossible to sleep. Even with an eye mask, it was uncomfortable. The cleanliness was just okay, probably because the room was so stuffy and had poor ventilation. The central AC made it even worse; I couldn't adjust the temperature, and I woke up sweating in the middle of the night, which was very unpleasant. It definitely wasn't as advertised. Maybe it was because I booked early for Chinese New Year at only 250, but the experience was really bad. The only good thing was that the front desk service was quite friendly.

The room was clean and tidy with modern facilities. The breakfast was rich and delicious. It's conveniently located close to West Lake attractions. We had a great stay, and the young man at the front desk was very helpful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Hangzhou.

The location is fantastic, right in the Lakeside business district, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of dining options nearby and lots of places to explore, making it perfect for a trip. Even during the Chinese New Year, the service was excellent. Although they were short-staffed, and breakfast items might have run out quickly, overall, I was very satisfied.

I booked two nights here before the ***** New Year and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel environment was. The front desk staff were excellent and very attentive, so I decided to extend my stay for another three nights, making it a total of five. The only minor issue was that from the second day onwards, the cleaning staff didn't replenish the in-room amenities promptly. However, once I mentioned it to the front desk, they brought them up right away. Other than that small hiccup, everything else was great!
