The Silk Lakehouse, Shangri-La Hangzhou

The room was absolutely beautiful, facing West Lake and Leifeng Pagoda, a truly stunning view. Our butler, Maggie, was incredibly attentive and responsive from pre-arrival communication to ensuring our comfort during our stay. We absolutely loved this hotel and had a wonderful time.

An impeccable experience, the complimentary items with our visit were all excellent. Our check-in was upgraded to a lake view suite, and the complimentary gifts in the room were more numerous, better quality, and very aesthetically pleasing and practical. The minibar was very well-stocked and comprehensive, with almost everything being free. It's definitely worth choosing this room type. Facilities: The hotel design is undeniably good, and the room design is also fantastic. The swimming pool design is breathtaking. The overall hotel decor is a visual delight, and the facilities are very new. The smart mattress is excellent, and the app-controlled smart features are very convenient. Hygiene: Perfect, nothing to fault. Environment: Perfect. It's very close to West Lake, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. Service: Perfect service. Special thanks to Maggie, Iris, and Darren for taking such good care of us. They provided a wonderful cake for my parents' wedding anniversary, and the anniversary decorations were very thoughtfully done. Communication via WeChat was instant, they were always responsive to our requests, and their response speed and problem-solving abilities exceeded expectations! Cultural Experience Class: The hotel's cultural programs are quite distinctive. Overall, there was almost no hard selling, and the instructors were very skilled. Overall, it was an experience unlike any I've had before. The Fuchun Resort Aman, where we stayed the day before, felt a little outclassed in comparison.

Had a great stay at the Shangri-La Hangzhou, Water Residence this time. The front desk staff Willa, duty manager Gordon, and concierge Iris provided excellent service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This hotel is impeccable, from its ambiance to its service. It's located right off Beishan Street, making it incredibly convenient to get to Xiling Bridge and Gushan Road. The front desk staff, two lovely ladies named Zoey and Iris, were very welcoming during check-in. They even accompanied me to the rooftop terrace, where I captured some stunning photos of West Lake. My private travel concierges, Sam and Darren, showed me to my room, explained the facilities, and were incredibly responsive to my needs throughout my stay. They promptly addressed every request, making for an excellent experience. A special thank you to the duty manager, Ella, for her thoughtful arrangements. The high-quality service from the entire hotel team left a deep impression on me. I'll definitely consider staying here again when spring arrives and the flowers bloom.

Booked this for my family last year, and finally got to experience it myself this time – it truly exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right by West Lake, making it easy to walk around the lake or hail a ride. The check-in process was professional and warm. The complimentary minibar in the room was a highlight; even though it's a one-time offer, it was enough for our two-day stay. I absolutely adore the hotel's decor, especially the green color scheme. So many thoughtful details, like the custom green telephone handset, the toiletries packaging, and the customized tableware. The pool is stunning, and the service there was very friendly, though it's a shame there's no hot tub. Another standout feature was the breakfast. It's semi-buffet style with à la carte options that were incredibly high quality, and the service was genuinely warm. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this one gets the highest score for breakfast. The hotel also offers daily activities; we participated in an enamel crafting class. The instructor was very professional and shared insights into the tradition of art and culture. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!
