Jianguo Hidden Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Branch)

The location is pretty good, a quiet spot in a bustling area. It's about a 15-minute walk to Duanqiao (Broken Bridge). The surroundings are relatively quiet, probably because it's near the provincial party committee, so it's not overly commercialized. Seeing Baochu Road brought back memories, especially when I looked up and saw the Baochu Pagoda just a short walk away, it made me think of Qian Hongchu during the peaceful times. The room facilities are quite new, the space is sufficient, and the hygiene is acceptable. However, no cotton swabs in the toiletries is a bit disappointing.

Great experience, will definitely come again. This hotel was a last-minute booking, but I was pleasantly surprised by its tasteful Chinese-style decor. For its type, it offers excellent value for money. The room features fully smart controls, and all the facilities are brand new. I'll definitely consider staying here again.

This was my first time staying at this brand of hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were incredibly welcoming and would greet me every time we met – it was lovely! The housekeeping staff were also great. The breakfast was a healthy, nourishing type, warming both the stomach and the heart, which I really enjoyed. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel room was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly. It's also super close to West Lake, and there's even a popular internet-famous baozi (steamed bun) shop, Little Red Riding Hood, right next door. Definitely recommend this hotel, it's fantastic and well worth staying at.

This was my first stay at Puyin Hotel. The day before, the hotel called us, and upon arrival, they patiently introduced the hotel and showed us different room types, truly embodying the principle of customer first. We chose a room we were happy with, and they even included breakfast. The hotel opened last year, and the decor is quite thoughtful, with an antique and elegant style. What I particularly loved was the powerful shower and stable water temperature – that's really important for me after a long journey. The staff were very warm and greeted us every time they saw us, making us feel right at home.

The hotel is relatively new, clean, and hygienic. The room I originally booked had a small window, but the front desk staff was incredibly patient and helpful, and upgraded me to a room with a floor-to-ceiling window. I could see the Baochu Pagoda directly outside, which was fantastic! 👍👍 It's about a 15-20 minute walk to West Lake, or you can take a bus. It's also about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, so it's quite convenient. I'd definitely choose to stay here again when I come to Hangzhou.

This is a great hotel, quiet yet conveniently located. It's about a ten-minute walk to West Lake, and a bit further to the Broken Bridge. It's also very close to a bus stop. There are many restaurants nearby, with Zhi Wei Guan right downstairs, offering delicious Pian'er Chuan noodles, steamed buns, and wontons – perfect for everyday meals. The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive, making it the perfect choice for a trip to Hangzhou. The complimentary late-night congee and side dishes are a nice touch; it’s lovely to go downstairs for some congee before bed.

The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are quite new. The mattress and pillows are definitely a highlight and very appealing. The bathroom layout feels a bit wasteful, though. The service is excellent, and they even offer a late-night snack.

The location is very convenient and the service was good, but the facilities are pretty subpar. It's not soundproofed at all, and my daughter asked to switch hotels several times, which was a bit frustrating. I used to think this chain was decent, but this time I'm quite disappointed.
