Huachen International Hotel

Location: Very close to West Lake, about a 10-minute walk to the lakeside. There are many convenience stores and eateries nearby. It's super convenient, just a 600-meter walk from Exit D of Longxiang Bridge subway station. The hotel entrance is right by the Pinghai Road Yuewang Road intersection bus stop. Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Hangzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital, and Hangzhou No.1 People's Hospital are all in the vicinity, making it easy to get to various West Lake attractions. Room: This is an older 4-star hotel. While the furniture shows its age a bit, it has everything you need. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a direct drinking water tap, and a full set of toiletries and bath products. Complimentary bottled water and a mini-fridge are provided. Robot delivery service is available. I loved the floor-to-ceiling window. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were great to sleep on. The room was well soundproofed, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast: Many travel reviews say the breakfast is just average, but I found it quite good! It's a mix of Chinese and Western options, with hot and cold dishes, fruits, and bread – all quite nice. For breakfast, it's more than sufficient. You eat on the 19th-floor restaurant, which offers a distant view of West Lake. On a nice day, you can sit on the outdoor terrace for a unique experience. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was very good; I was satisfied. Service: The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and genuinely warm. You could feel their sincere service, making you feel right at home. I even received a welcome fruit platter on the day of check-in. Xu Ziji on the first floor of the hotel offers many dishes starting at 3:30 PM. The food is absolutely delicious! The poached chicken, braised baby ribs, braised eggs, and stir-fried diced trio were all excellent. They also have rice for two yuan a serving, which is good quality fragrant rice. Definitely worth trying.

Every time I come to Hangzhou, I stay at Huachen Hotel, which is right on Pinghai Road, about a 5-minute walk from West Lake Yintai in77. There's also Metro Line 1 nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel breakfast is on the top floor (19th floor), and it's really diverse and plentiful – I ate there for two days straight! Plus, you can enjoy a view of West Lake. The room also came with fruit and snacks, and they even provided hand cream with a lovely scent. There's a self-service laundry room, and both check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, with very friendly staff.

The hotel's location is excellent. There are many great restaurants nearby, and transportation is very convenient. It's only a 5-minute walk from Longxiang Bridge Metro Station, 10 minutes from the Intime shopping district, and 10 minutes from West Lake.
