A hidden gem within Xixi Wetland! The detached villa offers stunning green views right from your window, with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that are incredibly soothing. The butler service is super attentive, breakfast is exquisite, and the Zen atmosphere is truly immersive. An absolutely incredible vacation experience!

Due to the Spring Festival travel restrictions, getting to the hotel turned out to be unexpectedly troublesome... We had to drag a ton of luggage across cobblestone paths and then take a 30-minute boat ride to finally reach the hotel. The transportation connections definitely need improvement! However, thankfully, good things come to those who wait. The hotel's service and scenery were both excellent, and the food was also delicious, especially the swamp prawns – I absolutely loved them!

This hotel is excellent in all aspects. It perfectly balances comfort with an authentic, natural experience, and it's incredibly quiet at night. The service team is outstanding, offering round-the-clock assistance for guests with mobility issues. Unlike large luxury chain hotels with hundreds of rooms, this hotel does a much better job of catering to individual needs. I'll definitely be back for future holidays. The noodles at the restaurant are excellent. Plus, the fruit platter and mini-bar were an absolute surprise – not only did they unusually offer soda water and sugar-free Coke, but there wasn't a single item I disliked. This is the first hotel I've stayed in where that's been the case!

The hotel environment is quite good, offering excellent value for money and great service. I recommend staying here, especially for the delicious breakfast and pleasant restaurant atmosphere. Have a good time during your stay!

The hotel boasts a classical and elegant ambiance, with a unique Jiangnan garden style. There aren't many rooms, making it quiet and comfortable—perfect for unwinding. Overall, the service was excellent, and the breakfast, with its à la carte and semi-buffet options, was also very good. I had a great stay and will definitely be back.

The environment here is elegant, and the facilities are comprehensive. Our butler, Simone, provided warm and thoughtful service. The surrounding restaurants are unique, and getting a taxi is convenient. The wetland boating is a must-try. We'll definitely come back next spring.

We were so disappointed! 👎 Having stayed at over twenty 5-star hotels in the past two years, this was by far the worst. 1. 💡 The facilities are incredibly old and often broken. For example, the vanity mirror was shattered, and the desk lamp flickered on and off. 2. 🛀 You have to wait at least a minute for hot water when showering, which is a very long time, wastes water, and is especially bad given how cold it is in winter. 3. 🛜 The Wi-Fi is terrible; videos constantly buffer. 4. 🏠 The bathroom floor has obvious, old stains that are absolutely disgusting 🤢. 5. 🍳 Breakfast was bad. The fried dough sticks (youtiao) were pre-made, the baozi had thick skins and little filling, the 'thumb-sized' pan-fried buns were greasy with hardly any meat, and the 'freshly squeezed' soy milk was clearly made from powder. The beef noodles and egg pancakes were okay, though. 6. For the DIY craft experience, there was only enough for one person per room, which was incredibly awkward for a couple. What's even more puzzling is that the cheapest room costs 2500 RMB?? 👍 On the positive side, the staff were enthusiastic, there was a golf cart shuttle service, and they helped with luggage. The public areas were beautiful, and the intangible cultural heritage aspects were interesting.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful. You’re tucked away in a private oasis. The furnishings are very old-school five-star luxury hotel but with apparent wear and tear. But it’s not too severe and absolutely forgivable for me given the beauty of the location. There’s a restaurant in the resort that has delicious food. Service is excellent too. I was welcomed by a very friendly Simon who walked me to my accommodation and introduced the place to me. If only there was a spa available then it would’ve been perfect!

The hotel is located right inside Xixi Wetland, which is a great location. The gentleman at the hotel entrance was very welcoming, and there was a professional male front desk staff member, who seemed like a manager or concierge. The hotel's shuttle bus can pick you up anywhere in the wetland at any time, and they'll even introduce various attractions and restaurants along the way, recommending hiking routes. Another plus is that it's pet-friendly; our dog really enjoyed staying here. This time, our room even had a litter of stray cats outside who weren't afraid of people. The only thing I feel needs improvement is the hotel's food.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly attentive and helpful! The breakfast was also delicious, and all the staff members were very friendly. The service was exceptional, making for a really great experience 😊

My family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window. 💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience. 🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it. 📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

A very worthwhile hotel stay.
