I had originally planned to take my friends to a jjimjilbang (Korean-style sauna), but to my surprise, it was so crowded on New Year's Eve that we had to queue to get in. We had no choice but to give up and booked a room last minute. It was a pleasant surprise – the front desk service was superb, breakfast was abundant, and they even gave out small gifts to the two children at checkout.
