HanTing Hotel (Hangzhou Wulin Square)

It's clean, and all the toiletries are disposable. They give you the toiletries along with the room card. There's a lobby where you can charge your devices and store luggage. The service is great, and the transportation is convenient. Right outside the door, there's a subway and bus stop that can take you to West Lake.

The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was semi-circular and a bit small! Soundproofing wasn't great; you could clearly hear the toilet flushing at night. The location is excellent, right opposite Wulinmen Exit A! Breakfast was also good!

Location: The hotel's location is very convenient; you can see it right after exiting the subway station. It's directly across from the subway exit, just a one or two-minute walk, which is super handy. There's a Family Mart convenience store nearby, a cake shop, and other restaurants, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's less than a kilometer from Wulin Square and Hangzhou Grand Theatre, and about a 20-30 minute taxi ride to Lingyin Temple and West Lake scenic area, which is extremely convenient. Since I wasn't driving, I won't comment on parking, but I give the location 5 stars. Service: The female receptionist with glasses at the front desk was polite and helpful, providing detailed reminders and promptly addressing guest inquiries with proactive service. She deserves special commendation. Other staff members lacked enthusiasm and initiative, and didn't smile much; I observed some guests having to ask twice before getting a simple response. A warm welcome, a fond farewell, attentive eyes, and careful listening – sincere and enthusiastic service are basic qualities a front desk should possess. The front office manager needs to strengthen training in service skills, introduce a reward system for excellent service cases, and enhance the front desk's热情 (hospitality) towards guests to match the brand's promotional style. Breakfast: I didn't have breakfast, so no comment. Room Hygiene: Generally okay. However, after using the bulk-purchased toiletries and hand soap, my skin became very dry, itchy, and uncomfortable. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this issue. I suggest providing feedback promptly and replacing them if necessary. The room had no musty smell, individual air conditioning, and good hygiene. Disposable amenities are not provided in the room, but the front desk actively offered them during check-in. The soundproofing in the room isn't great; there was a banging door sound late at night, and footsteps from upstairs were quite audible.

The room is quite spacious with plenty of sunlight, and it's close to the subway, making it convenient to get to all the attractions.
