Hangzhou Shangcheng District Hotels

Facilities: Well-equipped with complete amenities. Everything is functional. Cleanliness: Spotless, recently improved. Environment: Comfortable, with cozy beds. Service: Extremely satisfied with the service attitude, I really liked it. Great, great. Convenient for getting around, easy and quick access to transportation, and very accessible. Fast, convenient, and easy to get to places.

The hotel is conveniently located near public transport (bus and subway), and it's also very close to West Lake – perfect for a leisurely stroll after a meal. From our two windows, we had a lovely view of West Lake. The hotel itself was very clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety, and the revolving restaurant was a real highlight. They even provided amenities for children. We also received a small gift when we checked out. Overall, it offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

Stayed here for 2 days, and it’s a great hotel. Location is perfect, you’re in the heart of the city, very close to the lively streets with all the shops and restaurants. Also lots of interesting places to see nearby, museum and monuments. If you want to go to the lake it’s a nice 10min walk.  Room is comfy and nice with everything you need for a cosy stay, staff is really kind and helpful. You even have the reception’s WeChat you can text in case you need anything.  Overall solid choice if you’re looking for a great located, reliable hotel for a trip to Hangzhou !

This hotel is just one traffic light away from Jiebai and West Lake. The twin beds are 1.3 meters wide each, so a family of four can sleep comfortably. There's also a bathtub, which is great for bathing small children. The facilities aren't brand new, but some details are well thought out, and they even provide amenities for kids. Parking is 30 yuan for a whole day, which is quite cheap for Hangzhou. Overall, it's very good value for money.

The room was very clean, and the service was great. The hotel's location is also super convenient. To the left is Intime, and to the right is Qinghefang. Traveling with friends, it was easy to get anywhere nearby. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel offered a day trip to nearby attractions, which was excellent! We visited West Lake, Lingyin Temple, the First God of Wealth Temple, a tea plantation, and Qinghefang. Hangzhou East Railway Station is also very close, so we even squeezed in a quick trip to Shanghai.

The hotel environment is fantastic, with beautiful birdsong and fragrant flowers. The lobby decor is very stylish and perfect for photos. Its lakeside location makes it very convenient for exploring West Lake. The complimentary boat service is a wonderful perk and highly recommended. The service was professional and attentive, which I really appreciated. The complimentary travel photoshoot produced excellent results, also highly recommended.

This hotel deserves a huge thumbs up! The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, the breakfast spread is fantastic, and the service is warm and attentive. The location is absolutely superb – just across the road from the West Lake, and you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake from the fifth-floor rooftop. Downstairs, you'll find a bustling commercial street with plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options right at your fingertips! I only have two minor gripes: the glass on the panoramic elevator really needs a good cleaning; it's a bit of a mood killer! And could you please provide shower slippers in the bathroom? Walking barefoot on the marble floor in this cold winter was really uncomfortable. Other than that, everything else was perfect. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Hangzhou!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to West Lake, and only a block away from the Hubin business district, which makes it super convenient for dining in, ordering takeout, or buying tourist souvenirs. The room was clean and tidy. Even though it faced the street, closing the window blocked out all the noise. The young staff were all very friendly and attentive to all our requests. The hotel even has robots to deliver takeout, and they offered umbrellas when it rained, which was a really thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. It's right next to Longxiang Bridge subway station, so it's a direct and easy trip from the airport. The room itself is quite spacious, and the tatami mat is very comfortable – great for dining or playing games. The bathtub is also a highlight for a relaxing soak, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of a disposable tub liner. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom is also a plus. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer is a bit outdated; an upgrade would be great. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard, but the mini wontons were delicious.

This is my first time writing a detailed hotel review, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The hotel is located right at the intersection of Zhongshan Middle Road, just a few hundred meters walk from Intime Department Store. The subway station is also near Intime, making it convenient for taxis. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and massage parlors nearby. Most importantly, it's very close to West Lake Scenic Area. During the Chinese New Year, the hotel even provided shuttle service to West Lake. The washer and dryer are Siemens brand. From the breakfast restaurant, you can see West Lake in the distance. Although the gym is small, it has all the necessary equipment. The family room was quite spacious. The hotel's service was excellent, and for someone like me who is a bit of a clean freak, I found it very tidy. The staff were polite and attentive. Big thumbs up! 👍
