The staff were very helping in organising a tour for us and facilitating our stay. They rebooked our room when I got the date wong, they have a very fast washing service and are always friendly. Great location, too, right in the heart of the old quarter. Comfy beds.

We can’t speak highly enough of Splendid Holiday hotels. We booked through *********** and found communication a breeze through both WhatsApp and the *********** app. On our arrival the staff (Dong and Harry) were incredible, helping us sort SIM cards for a very reasonable price and giving us recommendations of places to go for dinner. We booked a tour with Hannah to Ninh Binh for one night which we enjoyed and ended up staying again for nights in between different trips. On our last stay there was a mix up with our room as some others hadn’t checked out and the team attempted to give us another hotel which was of less quality however they were happy to facilitate our request to stay in their hotel and significantly discounted the rate. The hospitality is truely incredible. Our SIM cards stopped working randomly towards the end of the trip but after a couple of WhatsApp messages it was all sorted. This was truely a home away from home! The location is incredible! Tucked into an alleyway but straight to the old town! So close to the cathedral and lake, along with the night markets open on weekends. Room was great, spacious with comfy beds and strong wifi throughout. Breakfast was also very yum!

Amazing service from check in to check out! We were upgraded to a family room, super clean and quiet which is rarely the case in Hanoi. I’m Location near the lake is perfect. The staff was super friendly, they even let us use a room to shower before our 13hours flight back home which was hugely appreciated. Special thanks to Dong the receptionist!

This is an excellent hotel! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, lovely rooms, delicious free breakfast and a handy location in the old district. Can’t fault the service. Will definitely come back soon.

Our first time in Vietnam and our experience from the extremely noise heavy traffic that we arrived at our hotel. We was greeted by Mr Tom in a friendly and professional manner. We were offered complimentary welcome drink and refreshing fruits, which is a nice from the humid weather. Our lovely host Ms Rose who is so friendly and always smiling showed us to our room. The room was on 5th floor facing St Joseph's cathedral is very spacious and clean with in room / bathroom amentities. Their was plenty of selections for our breakfast buffet which the staff was brilliant. General Manager Mr Harry and his team makes this hotel run high level of service such as staff member Ms Rose and D A which I'm glad I met as I learnt alot within 10 minutes knowing him. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about his country. Good point - close to tourist attractions (St Joseph cathedral, lake, train street, night market and many more locations. - friendly and professional staff - clean and tidy - Clean room by room attendance Consider point - Was told over the phone that the water, crisps and snacks in room are free besides the mini bar as we were charged on checkout for the snacks and crisp. Maybe when shown to the room that the host will mention or a note on display informing guests. - If you are a light sleeper then the cathedral clock goes off from 05:00am and throughout the day. The location of this hotel is perfect ! In a small and quiet street, and 30 seconds from the cathedral !! Rooms are nice and comfy (the balcony was amazing). I have no words to describe the staff. They helped us to organize the pick up at the airport, the transfer to our next destination and everything else in between. ALWAYS WITH A SMILE! Special thanks to Dong!
