I stayed at The Fern Shelter Resort, Palghar this past weekend with both my kids and it was truly a refreshing break for all of us. From Saturday morning to Sunday evening, we were completely relaxed, happy, and so well looked after. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully done with little thoughtful touches. My kids especially loved the indoor play area with carrom, chess, and table tennis. It kept them busy and smiling the whole time. The outdoor space was peaceful and green, with a sweet little play zone for smaller kids too. We also got to enjoy the spa, which has a lovely big window overlooking greenery. It was so calming and quiet. The food at Saffron Pure Veg was wholesome and full of flavour. We had a beautiful thali for dinner and everything felt homely and light. One of the most special moments was the evening diya-lighting tradition. A guest lights the first diya and then the staff join in with their candles. It creates such a heartwarming sense of togetherness. This stay was more than just a getaway. It gave me peaceful moments with my kids, some much-needed calm, and memories we’ll always cherish. I would definitely recommend this resort to families looking for a peaceful weekend escape not too far from Mumbai.

The Flavors restaurant lived up to its name — delicious food, elegant décor, and a soothing atmosphere. Mr. Avinash, the hotel manager, deserves a big thank you for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for all guests. Ganesh at the Flacours restaurant served us with a constant smile and ensured that we were well taken care of.He also helped us as too what cuisine would suit our palate. A perfect host. Sakshi and Meenu were always kind and attentive, looking into every little detail of our dining experience. Mr. Pandurang graciously showed us around the lush landscape, sharing insights on the variety of flora and fauna, making the property feel even more special. Sony at the reception was incredibly helpful — thank you, Sony, for lending me a charger so kindly and without hesitation! Vinayak greeted us with refreshing welcome drinks and a warm smile, personally escorting us to our rooms, which was a lovely touch. The garden area was beautifully maintained — tranquil and filled with natural charm. We truly felt at home and cared for. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at The Fern Palghar. Highly recommended! We shall be back .
