Echarm Plus Hotel (Harbin Zhongyang Dajie Suofeiya Cathedral)

After searching for hotels online for a long time, I finally chose ECharm and it definitely didn't disappoint! First off, we arrived late at night, but the front desk service wasn't lacking at all. In fact, the front desk attendant saw us with our child and luggage and proactively helped us open the door and carry our bags. Our room included breakfast for two, and since there were three adults, they thoughtfully gave us an extra breakfast. The breakfast selection was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as freshly cooked wontons and noodles, and juice – very kid-friendly! The restaurant environment was also very well designed. Upon entering the room, a welcome fruit platter was already set out. The room was very clean, and the bedding and towels were spotless. The room temperature was surprisingly warm; I actually had to turn on the AC to sleep in April 🥲. The next day, the housekeeping staff came very early to clean for our extended stay – super professional. The laundry room was also spacious, with 3 washers and 3 dryers, having everything you could need. The front desk service was exceptional; they always greeted us proactively and even reminded us to watch our step… And the location speaks for itself, just a few minutes from Central Street, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. Finally, when we checked out, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir. I'll definitely choose this place again when I return to Harbin. Highly recommended! 😜

Parking is a bit inconvenient as finding a free spot nearby relies on luck.

It's quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and 4 minutes to Central Street. The front desk staff always greeted us and reminded us about the steps. Cons: The room was tiny, feeling smaller than advertised – there was barely enough space to open a suitcase. It was stuffy inside, and the window only opened a crack, so we had to use the AC for cooling to sleep. In the shower, we had to remove the drain cover to prevent it from clogging. Overall, I'd say it was an average experience.

I brought my parents to Harbin for a trip, and this hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. You can walk directly to Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the Songhua River. When I was originally choosing a hotel, I was a bit worried about the service based on some reviews, but it turned out to be much better than expected! Extra items were delivered or loaned very promptly. I also really love the overall decor of the hotel; the lobby, hallways, and rooms are all incredibly clean. And the mattress and pillows were genuinely comfortable to sleep on.
