Ibis Hotel (Harbin Central Street Railway Station)

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

I've stayed here many times. The environment is great, the room is clean and tidy, and it's very close to Central Street. There are also many dining options downstairs, and it's very convenient to get to the shopping mall. I'll definitely be back again.

The hotel's location is a bit awkward; don't just go by its name when booking. It's actually nearly two kilometers from both the train station and Central Street, so not really close to either. The Ibis brand standards are generally met, but honestly, outside of the room itself, everything else—the lobby, the elevator, the exterior—feels quite low-quality. The building's facade isn't as good as depicted in the promotional photos. Just look at the elevator's logo; the way it's cropped in the middle isn't much better than a chewed-up mess. The shower water intermittently turns cold, which is incredibly annoying. Also, the design of the meal card is so un-hotel-like; why put such a random person on it? They said they couldn't see if my Trip.com order included breakfast. Is that true? Do I really have to download the Huazhu app? Breakfast was just okay.
