Hotel Panorama

We loved this hotel as part of our couples holiday to ski and sight see. Our visit was in early March 2023. The room was very comfortable and spotless clean. There was no mini bar nor coffee maker but that was fine with us....in the mornings we would just pop down to the restaurant and bring coffee back to our room. Our room had a balcony that we could sit on and the view was amazing! I highly recommend booking a balcony room that you can walk out on. We were on level F which is the level above the restaurant, I believe. There is a tram that is adjacent to the hotel that takes you to Meiringen which we did one late afternoon for a drink. That tram runs every half hour. You can see it from your balcony which was fun as well. Restaurant was great with very personal service and quite attentive. We were on a package that included dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious. The restaurant assigns a restaurant table to you during your stay which we really enjoyed as there was a reservation card on our table for our meals. At check-in, we selected our meal for the evening and then at breakfast we selected our meal for that evening. Great options, delicious food and vegetarian options. Service by Benjamin, Katarina, and a tall blonde lady was top notch. There was a huge patio off the restaurant which would be great to enjoy during the spring, summer, and fall. I believe they probably serve dinner outside when possible but not certain. Regardless, it had tables and lounge chairs so would be a nice spot to relax. The tram for skiing is just across the street so an easy walk. There is a ski rental shop just next door to the Hotel Panorama so it is very convenient. The Hotel Panorama has ski lockers for you which have hooks for your boots and gloves to dry overnight. A very nice set up really. We would love to return to this hotel in summer!
