The beach view is great! we stayed here for 3 nights, all foods are tasty 😋 staffers are nice and customer friendly. We will come back for sure!👍

We have stayed at other resorts in the Carribean. We found Sugar Bay to be really great. Ocean was amazing not rough like the other resorts nearby. Food OMG have no complaints, wide selection to choose from. Staff are so friendly, Kay, Nathan, Samantha, Anita, Nicole, Helen, Damon, Lee, Pedro so many more. Would recommend anyone to stay here, you will not regret it.

Great location on the beach. Most staff were amazing and friendly. Some seemed to obviously favourite certain guests, often because they were tipping more which doesn’t feel right. Buffet food a bit basic and repetitive to the extent we stopped bothering with breakfast after a few days. Steakhouse and Umi were lovely though, shame they were restricted to just one visit at each in a week.
Area with gym and bar feels disconnected from main hotel and as such was under utilised. The gym is too small with no floor space for exercises.
Overall a good experience but aligned more to a three star hotel.

Nice hotel, would use again. Slightly disappointed with the spa offers as all treatments quite expensive. Restaurants very good and staff friendly.

We had an Oceanfront room, however the sea view was mostly blocked by vegetation and smaller than anticipated. Our room was not cleaned properly, even upon arrival. It was still dirty from the last guests. There was a lot of sand on the floor, mirror in the main room was dirty, balcony was unswept, bathroom glasses were filthy, the water glasses by the fridge still had previous guests lip marks on the glass rim. None of these problems were corrected for 4 days until I got fed up and called for the manager to come to our room and see for herself the condition. Everything was corrected.
The buffet food was just okay. For breakfast you could have fresh eggs cooked, which was good. Dinner was okay but occasionally there was a really nice roast. Dessert was always good.
There were 2 specialty restaurants, one Japanese and one Steakhouse. The Japanese restaurant was really good the first time we went. Obviously a different chef the second time because it wasn't as good and I had the same dish both times so the comparison was easy. The steakhouse was really good both times except the first time my baked potato was served cold.
Bar service was always slow but the drinks were good.
The beach and the water were amazing.
Overall, for the price, the room and the food were not worth it. We would not stay here again.
