The room was decent for a transit stay before heading to Koh Lipe. While the marks on the bedsheets were a bit off-putting, everything else was quite good. The room was also very quiet.
We walked from the airport to the hotel, passing a 7-Eleven en route. The walk took about 18 minutes, starting around 7:30 PM. The included breakfast was à la carte, and my travel companions particularly enjoyed the congee option.

Overall, it's a decent stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a 7-Eleven just a 100-meter walk away. The hotel's exterior looks quite good, and the pool is nice, plus they have a basic gym facility.
However, the room itself was a bit of a letdown. Essentials like toothbrushes and slippers weren't provided. Perhaps due to being on the first floor, we encountered quite a few ants and small insects. If you're sensitive to bugs, I'd recommend asking for a room on a higher floor.
A major plus is its proximity to the airport – it's only a 15-minute walk. Taking a Grab taxi, though, would set you back 110 THB, which feels a bit expensive considering how close it is.

The hotel room is nice and clean. Cosy bed & pillow. Got small pool. Please be aware that building near the pool has no lift/elevator. Only stairs. So, for those who bring large luggages, please request the room at ground floor.

Second time staying at Techang resort, I think it will be the last. Much better options in Muang Hat Yai. The pool is cool and you can smoke and workout a little bit in the morning. However they helped take me to the hospital which made up for most of the sub par experience. Thank you

This is a layover hotel conveniently located near Hat Yai Airport. A quick 5-minute ride from the airport using a ride-hailing app cost 106 THB. You'll need to pay a 300 THB deposit upon check-in. For the price, it's a perfectly acceptable transit option. Most of the premises were fairly clean, but unfortunately, the bedsheets weren't quite spotless.
