I stayed for a couple of nights. The host was great and did everything he could to make sure i could get breakfast each day, before i left early for work.
Rooms are clean functional, but a touch basic. Not that that is a bad thing. My only small issue was the lack of power socket in my room.
I would happliy stay again if my work brings me back that way.

Excellent stay! I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely rural country house. The hosts were extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The bedroom was delightful - very quiet and peaceful. The food was top quality and there is a lovely atmosphere. A highlight was the resident hare family walking past the window as I ate breakfast. I will definitely be going back to this lovely b&b and would highly recommend a stay.

A fabulous house to stay with friends and their pets. Plenty room for everyone and dedicated rooms for pets and their owners. We were wonderfully looked after by the host. Big lounge with log fire. Excellent meals and snacks. The gardens is a haven of birds. Plenty walks nearby.

This place is so welcoming and the hosts are so attentive. The food is excellent , the beds are so comfy, it’s clean . Hot water bottles and blankets are provided should you need that extra comfort as it’s an old house but with character! I will be returning!

My work booked me in here for 2 nights and I was very happy with my stay. All the essentials like a comfy bed, hot shower, warm room, good wifi & a hearty breakfast were provided in a wonderful old building. It made a nice chance from my usual same hotel chain experience. Simon and Amanda are lovely people and very welcoming. I think the 3 recent negative reviews on Trip Advisor must have been from a group with a grudge, as my experience here was only good.

A lovely relaxing house to escape to in a quiet rural setting which is perfect for a retreat. Super comfy beds and great hospitality. Loved the house which has lots of character and provided a very peaceful retreat after a very stressful few months - we left feeling re-energised. A home away from home. We look forward to returning.

I stayed here for two nights , when I booked on the phone I was told on the first night it would be fish for dinner, when I arrived i was told it would be macaroni cheese with fried tomatoes, no choice was given, it was poor , on the second night I was told it would be stuffed courgettes, no choice again so I told the lady no thanks I will just get a takeaway.
