Lovely spacious and comfortable bedroom , so welcome after a long journey. The breakfast was delicious, especially the overnight oats. Beautiful setting and we wished we had more time to spend in the area.

Dean and Gina are the best! They are welcoming and you feel as if you have known them forever. The B and B they run is a top quality place, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast - quite possibly the most wonderful porridge I have ever had! The hosts are very knowledgeable about what to do in the area. We had a really lovely visit, and we appreciate the special attention they give to their guests. Excellent experience.

This is a superb B&B. Dean and Gina are wonderful hosts, friendly and very helpful in explaining where to go and what to see. Our room was very clean, and spacious with comfortable chairs and plenty of storage space. The bed gave us the best night's sleep ever. A good hearty breakfast with a good choice of items. There is a lovely outside sitting area to use if the weather is kind. Teviothead is a little remote and you need a car to get around but there are several places to visit not too far away. Nearby Hawick has plenty of shops and a lovely park with riverside walks and a children's playground.

Five-star in terms of accommodation and hospitality! We stayed in the cottage having stayed in the house two years ago. Truly a tranquil rural retreat. Amazing nearby walks and all the modern conveniences. Right on the A7 but you don’t hear the traffic. Perfect! Maxine and Nathan, Surrey

Travelling from Australia with my husband and parents, we had the pleasure of staying at Colterscleuch House recently. From the moment we 6 and Dean were not only friendly and warm, greating us with a pot of tea and cake but extremely helpful with booking us in for a local restaurant. Such an interesting and informative couple, who gave us so much history about the area without being over the top. The B&B was absolutely gorgeous and next level in comfort, beautifully decorated with brand new bathrooms, heated floors and so private. The breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious and plentiful. If you get the chance I highly recommend staying here and we were sad we couldn't stay longer!

The cottage was perfect for us and our 3 boys. Spotlessly clean, all the facilities you need. It had mod cons but still felt like a farm cottage. The outdoor areas are really sheltered so even though it was a bit windy during our stay we got to sit out a lot. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return.
