Central Studio Hotel Sydney

Situated close to public transport so getting around was not a problem. A supermarket is close by, along with many eateries and shops. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Location is the only thing that I have chosen this hotel and the morning manager was very accommodating, very friendly and a multi tasker (he is the only one doing such a great job in customer service honestly!). Day one on Monday 5th evening we were surprised there was only 1 towel in the bathroom so I asked reception by calling them once they picked up the phone they told me I needed to get the towel I need at the reception desk as they don’t have housekeeping on duties anymore as it was too late already but c’mon don’t they think they should have supplied two towels as elsewhere (that was the first time for me to have only one towel when I booked obviously for two). Also still on the first night after Ive got the towel I went to a shower room and there wasn’t a body wash in a bottle (shocked honestly has to have a shower without body wash as I didn’t wanna bother my self to go down to a reception to ask them to refill the bottle from my room on level 9). The next morning I let them know there wasn’t a body wash in my room 910 and he said he would let them know (I’ve got the body wash refilled the night I came back to my room). On Saturday 10th I didn’t have any supplied of a fresh towel so i used the towel from a day before same as my friend as we both didn’t get any fresh towels that day and didn’twanna bother my self to go down to ground level again to get some fresh towels. On Sunday 11th evening we still don’t get any fresh towels as we should so I went to the reception desk with hoped that I would get it again like on Monday 5th but this time I saw the RUDE night shift manager that told me: we don’t do house keeping on Sunday and I explained to him that I didn’t receive any fresh towel either on Saturday that’s why I came down to ask if there was any spare one … he gave me one only with the attitude like I was there begging for towels… honestly this is should be happened to us who stayed 7nights or to any one in the future please DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL … go some where else where is your money worth !!!!

Horrible hotel, really dirty room and poor room service. Was denied an extra set of towel upon request and room service was not provided in daily bases even when the need to be cleaned sign was hanging. Ventilation in room was non-existent causing musty stench in room.

The first room we checked in was smelly. We told the staff about the smell. The staff was reluctantly trying to help us find the new room as it was almost full for that day. good location 

Managed to get 2 connecting rooms which made it very convenient to move around. Spacious and clean. The location is excellent, just a shirt walk to Central Station or the tram. Even by foot, you can easily reach Hay market and Chinatown. If at Haymarket, check out the fish and chips stall and the butcher stall opposite it. Very good food at reasonable prices. If don't want to walk that far, just along the stretch beside the hotel, there are many restaurants that open till late, so food is literally a stone throw away. Receptionists friendliness vary. The 2 chaps from Fiji, Jason & Sidibeni were very friendly, the others not so much. If looking for a safe, convenient place,, this is a good find. Recommended!
