Mercure Hotel Hefei City Government Square

The hotel has a very new and fresh vibe, with a French style that I absolutely loved. Its location is super convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the Huaihe Road food street, and there's a Kawangka right on the corner. The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly kind; seeing that we were traveling with kids for the New Year, she not only upgraded our room but also prepared snacks and gifts for the children. The breakfast was also the most abundant we've had at any hotel of this caliber. If I ever come back to Hefei, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

I booked this last minute, and Trip.com's efficiency was really impressive. Coming from that absolutely dreadful 5-star Holiday Inn Gujing, this 4-star hotel's facilities are miles ahead, truly on another level. The room was spacious, service was excellent, and it's conveniently located near Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street and Metro Line 2, making getting around super easy. Breakfast was also plentiful. The only downside was that during the Chinese New Year, the weather was quite warm, and the hotel didn't have cold air conditioning, so we had to open the windows. Also, something noteworthy: when checking out, I accidentally left a bar of soap, and the hotel actually called to ask if I'd forgotten it and if I wanted it back. This really shows their customer-centric approach. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

Big thanks to the front desk staff! The service was exceptionally good during the New Year period. The room amenities were thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of complimentary water and drinks. They even asked if we wanted water when we checked out. Kids' slippers and toothbrushes were also provided. We were very satisfied.

The location is very good, the environment is good, it is convenient to eat and shop around, it is very close to Chenghuang Temple and Bao Park, the room is clean, spacious and bright, the facilities are very new, the overall layout of the room is very comfortable, the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, the breakfast has many varieties and tastes good

The room is really big, with dry and wet areas separated, as well as separate washrooms and bathrooms. The water and drinks in the small refrigerator are free, which is great. The breakfast variety is also rich, and you can eat well even if you are full.
