Intra Muros Hostel

Location: Close to main shopping areas of Heraklion, easily accessible from Heraklion Airport with local bus, and within a short walk to 24-hour convenience stores, shops, and restaurants(based on 1 review)

I decided to stay here because the hotel that I had booked wasn’t available until the next day. The hostel is easy to get to from Heraklion Airport and cost around €1.20 on the local bus, the closest stop is Agiou Mina which is round a 5 minute walk away. The facilities were good, the staff were friendly, the hostel was clean. There is a lockable cupboard in the room and air con. The beds were comfy and they offered privacy. The only downside was the air con, I was the furthest away from the unit, but it meant that I had hardly any sleep, another guest opened the window halfway through the night which made it a little more bearable. The hostel is around a 10 minute walk to the shops and local restaurants and a 10 minute bus ride to the main bus station. I would stay here again.
