Premier Inn Hereford Holmer

Brilliant staff very helpful and friendly they explained everything I wanted to know. Plenty of parking space aswell. The pub next-door is a great atmosphere and you're only a short taxi ride away from the town centre. I stay here a lot and always a great stay.

Stayed here several times,it's a wonderful local and secluded hotel,i had amazing night sleep. Am extremely grateful to Jeff who was on reception on Sunday evening for lending me his belt without a second thought. Will certainly be staying here again it's opposite the Beefeaters and both offers free parking. Thank you.

My elderly Mum and myself stayed here for 2 nights Good Friday to Easter Monday, we arrived before 3pm and checked in straight away, the room was quite far from reception for Mum to walk so I told Debbie on reception and she changed our room to be nearer the exit. We had a pleasant stay it was very quiet at night despite the pub being busy and our room overlooking the entrance. The room was very clean and adequate for our needs, family room with sofa bed. Extra tea, coffee and milk etc., where available at reception as where extra towels if required. Breakfast was excellant as was the service at a very bust time and the Starting Gate Beefeater was excellant too, there where 15 of us for a family/birthday get together, the food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service was excellant. We have stayed before and will definately stay again. I read a review that the smoke alarm light was flashing all night, ours was too which I found very reassuring and although we didn't hear any babies crying, unfortunately for their parents particularly, they do!

Although this Premier Inn did not have air conditioning, it was not at all uncomfortable. With the window open the small amount kept the room quite cool. Staff here were great and understanding Maybe the rooms were a little tired, but that is all.

We were booked into this hotel to attend a family funeral. We did not know the area at all and had to rely on taxis to get to and from the hotel. There was no member of staff at the hotel when we arrived and were told we could not check in until after 3pm the time of our arrival being 15 minutes before 3pm. The room was adequate, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work, there was a light flashing on the radiator intermittently throughout the night and the light on the smoke alarm above the bed was flashing. We had to pre book a breakfast time and when we arrived there was no member of staff present. We were asked if we would like to order a cooked breakfast and to help ourselves to the continental breakfast. There was only 1 sachet of sauce. There were two small toasters and the brown bread didn't fit. This Premier Inn was definitely not up to their usual standard.

The hotel was busy - but still surprisingly very quiet. Had a great nights sleep. Beefeater next door for simple food. Irena, on reception, was great - nothing was too much trouble for her; attentive and responsive. Overall - exactly what you want when you’re away!

Unimpressed with non existant wifi in room. Worse still having booked for dinner in the restaurant waited 10 minutes to be seated but no one appeared so ended up leaving and going to local pizza hut. Room is ok, but I would not stay here again and rather go somewhere where there is proper service

We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. To our room which was as expected - spotlessly clean and tidy. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean. Everything in the room worked as it should. We had good night’s sleep in the comfortable bed. The stay was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast in the Beefeater was very good.

Booked a family room as was travelling with my 2 teenage daughters to visit my father who was very ill in Hereford Hospital, long journey up, arrived in the evening very exhausted, checked in and got to room to find it was only made up for x2 people despite booking a family room. Had to ask reception for bed linen and go back and made up bed ourselves. Only enough towels provided for one person so had to ask for more next day from cleaning staff. Restaurant not stocked with enough vegan choices, (no vegan sausages in stock) therefore not worth paying full price for cooked breakfast. Noisy corridors at night and heard next door shower at 06.00am, plus crying baby in room above in middle of the night. will not go back to this Premier Inn as very disappointed, usually they are spot on with noise control and great value for money, not this time unfortunately
