The hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.

The decoration of the hotel is very exquisite, in European aristocratic style. The front desk service was very enthusiastic, and the female manager took the initiative to upgrade me to a sea view room on the second floor. As soon as I entered the room, I saw two whales spraying water on the beach on the balcony. It deserves to be called a whale watching town, with sea view + whale, the scenery is really good.

We couldn’t have expected a more spectacular stay. The warmest of welcomes, the most comfortable, cleanest and spacious of rooms with an amazing view of the ocean. The very good service continued throughout our stay. Good choice of breakfast in a warm and friendly environment. A big thank you to everyone, especially Lee-Ann. Tot ziens!

Fabulous hotel, the room we had was huge with its own separate area for having tea/coffee and lovely balcony patio. Swimming pool was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, the staff can’t do enough for you. Safe with easy walking to restaurant and shops. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here for close to a month - for business reasons - and I could not have wished for anything else. Misty Waves take care of your every need. From a business point of view it is quiet to work from, and yet have all the home comforts that one can wish for. The staff really go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable, have everything that you need, and even let you use their punch and stapler ''çause you forgot yours at home. A great big thanks you to Jason, Lee-Anne and the rest of the staff for making my stay so extremely pleasant - I will be back soon .... warn Musty! Also to John and Rebecca at the restaurant who would phone because I did not come down for breakfast - I really appreciate your care and concern. I could not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody!

Our stay was, as usual, very pleasant, peaceful, and in beautiful surroundings. The hotel and garden are something special and contribute to a very enjoyable stay. The staff is always very friendly, helpful, competent, and makes it impossible not to build a special bond with them. We will definitely visit Misty Waves regularly for a getaway and vacation.

We had a fantastic room overlooking the ocean which was extremely spacious. The hotel is situated a 10-15 minute walk from the restaurants of Hermanus. The pool is small but adequate and the breakfast was served in the restaurant next door which was very nice.
