Nema Design Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Hotel is amazing. The staff are so friendly they attend to your every need. I would love to come back with family. No complaints about the food there is something for everyone it’s all fresh and made very well. Ishmael is great he greeted us when we arrived and has taken care of us everyday since. He also made my birthday special with wine and cake. My room was the comfort with the independent pool best rooms in this hotel, I wish I could stay longer

Lovely service from the moment we walked in, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The room with the pool is just perfect for couples and the food is amazing I can’t fault it, this hotel has everything you’d need for a relaxing holiday, drinks, food, pool and a private beach just opposite, the spa is also amazing as the treatments are worth what you pay and the staff are also thorough in explaining what the treatments involve and also give recommendations on which one to go for depending on your needs which was great, the ladies Kiki and Emma who did the massages for my husband and myself were just amazing they really listened to what we needed and kept making sure the pressure was right for us and it was just the most relaxed we have ever been I would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely recommend the spa.

I cannot say enough good things about Nema Hotel!!! The accommodation were beautiful and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing!!! And the stage was so kind and helpful!!! I highly recommend this hotel.

For my girlfriends 21’st I wanted to take her away to the best possible place to make it really special for her and prior to arrive nema design was so helpful and arranged a cake and balloons and greeted us with a free bottle Upon arrive as welcome drinks. The room was amazing and the hotel is stunning, however the only downfall of our trip was the food. Me and my partner are really fussy Eaters and we paid all inclusive thinking we’d end up eating within the hotel’s restaurants but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for us, the foods on offer weren’t to our liking and every night we ended up going out for food and spending €80 plus on food taxis etc. it only came to light on the last night of our stay when a manager came over and was made aware of this when we where introduced to a separate menu which we were not told about. It was filled with pastas, steaks, fish and lots more. This was very disappointing to here as we did explain to waiters on previous nights we didn’t like the buffets or the set menus and we even asked them for local food suggestions so we could go out to eat due to us not enjoying the food. But the team at nema were super helpful and for the last night and the next day before we have our flight home they gave us the rest of our food from this other menu completely free of charge as an apology. One thing I wouldn’t recommend is getting all inclusive. During my stay in my personal opinion it’s not worth the money. Like I mentioned I didn’t like the majority of foods on offer and even the additional menu that was more suitable for me and my partner, this was all not included in the all inclusive package meaning if we did want something like a pasta or a nice steak we would have to pay normal prices for everything despite us spending that extra money to get food included during our stay. Also the drinks we had during our stay were very limited, drinks such as a daiquiri and many more were all not included in our package and there were only a selected few from the cocktail menu you could actually have with the all inclusive package and it was the exact same for spirits, wines etc On one occasion we decided whilst we were getting ready to go out we wanted to get some drinks sent up to the room so that’s exactly what we did, no problems whatsoever and we went on to enjoy our night. The very next night we also decided to do the same thing to start the night off when we were met with a bill for the drinks plus a service charge. Obviously paying for all inclusive I was in disbelief that I was paying for this when I could go down the hall to the bar and get these drinks free of charge so all in all I didn’t think this is worth paying the extra cost, it’s probably more cost effective paying half board and enjoying foods when you get to Greece in lots of different places aswell as there restaurants if they are suited to you. Decided on this hotel because it looked nice, was adults only and we could do all inclusive. The hotel itself is perfectly kept, very clean, modern and everything you need. The other reviews are correct and there is no rush for sun-beds at all, you could go out until lunch time, come back and find a bed. It’s very peaceful around the pool and the hotel as a whole is pretty quiet. There isn’t really anything to do in the town region so if you’re explorers you’ll need to hire a car or get taxis to other places However, our biggest issue was the all inclusive here. It is quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel that does all inclusive. You are limited with what you can eat, when you can eat (no snack during the day or evening), water is only available by the cup because you have to pay for bottle as they’re not included on the all inclusive. Only half the cocktails are included and the food choice I would say was average at best. Some of the female servers are rude and don’t want to help you. On one occasions (during lunch time) the tzatziki in the salad bar had run out, we ask for more and were told 20 mins later we had to wait because they were too busy… I’m sorry but for a 5 star all inclusive I find this not good service. The only person we found incredible was Paris at the beach bar. He made our days by the pool amazing. He is so friendly, welcoming and just amazing at his job. Would I recommend or return to this hotel… I would recommend it yes but I believe they need to change the rule regarding to water on the all inclusive. Let people have big bottles not limit them to cups. This for me was my biggest issues as I drink a lot of water every day and felt I couldn’t here

We went to Crete so I could propose to my girlfriend (fiance now). Had a huge romantic thing planned at the Bay of Malia(her name is Malia also) so I decided to stay at Nema since it wasn’t too far away. As soon as we got there we could tell things weren’t as advertised. They tried to give us a smaller room when I paid for the private pool swim up so that was an ordeal. Then the room was tiny, and I mean TINY. also, there’s no privacy in the pool area so your neighbors can hear and see everything along with random people walking by able to just stare at you. But the main thing was the terrible service. I would hope it wasn’t race related but it was hard to think it wasn’t. The food at the restaurant was buffet style but the waitress had. To take drink orders. We would be at the table for 15-20 minutes and no one would come ask to take our orders meanwhile more European looking people would have a waitress at their table as soon as they sat down. They also don’t tell you that even though it says all inclusive there’s an up charge for damn near everything, even soda. The final straw was after the proposal we went back to the room and just wanted a bottle of wine and to relax in our pool. It took over an hour for them to bring the wine and when they did it was wrong. So I had to go out to the bar and order the bottle myself yet they still tried to argue with me and charge me for the first one that we didn’t drink and we returned. We decided to leave early because after such a horrible time why would we stay? We asked to get credited for the days we weren’t there and they refused. So they got our money and rented that room to someone and got paid again. The manager refused to speak to me at all and kept hiding from me even though I saw him in the lobby. Bottom line, stay away. I’ll never come back and will never refer anyone to stay here.

It was perfect massage, the girl that do it for me called Kiki and she is very kindly and the service was very good. She know what she is doing and know where the pain is. I recommend a lot to try it!

Giannis was amazing at the bar! Fantastic cocktails and so friendly!! Would go above and beyond to make sure you were looked after. Great hotel and experience would definitely recommend to anybody! Choice of food and drinks were great and I highly recommend booking the room with a jacuzzi, such a nice touch!
