A wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Super comfortable bed and lots of nice touches. Sally is so helpful with suggestions where to eat etc. Very quiet with lovely gardens. Area to sit in to look at the views. Would love to go back.

Absolutely beautiful country house b&b. Wonderful location in the gorgeous sussex countryside with stunning views.lovely thoughtful care and service by Sally.lots of great attention to detail in the rooms.bed was super comfortable, Good quality toiletries, bottled water,tea and coffee making facilities,bottle opener,hairdryer, cotton wool, USB sockets. Breakfast was amazing, great choice,freshly made beautifully presented high quality food.nothing was too much trouble for Sally. Highly recommend this lovely house if you're looking for somewhere to stay in sussex. Only 25mins from the coast

A wonderful 6 nights spent here in the heart of the countryside. If you are looking to escape to the country for some peace and quiet then this is perfect. Wonderful character filled house. Perfect location to visit Herstmonceux Castle, Hastings, Battle, Pevensey, Eastbourne, Brighton. Great local walks for wildlife spotting. Amazing views. Exceptional breakfast! Sally is fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Character and comfort
Sally made us feel really welcome. The house dates back to the 1500s and so has all the character you would expect, with the modern comforts. Petit déjeuner / breakfast excellent choice and copious. Nothing to add … just perfect. We will be back.
