To, Jaco Fourier, Sir, We visited your hotel on 28/12/23 to 31/12/2023. The location and accommodation was good. Meals were good. However I did book 2 rooms because my son and daughter also joined us from Jhb. We are pensioners and we did visit your hotel in August 2023 as well. Nevertheless I did have an nasty incident on the balcony of my children's room. One of the chairs that I was seated on collapsed resulting in me falling and injuring my right hand and my back. I did report the incident to your reception. The following morning I reported the incident to your General manager and informed him that I will be visiting my Doctor so that an assessment can be done and that I will forward the account to Estuary. He was not very compassionate and added that he submit the account to the the attorneys for approval. He also informed me that he had purchased new patio furniture but because of the festive season he could not replace the outdoor chairs. I did notice in the previous review, also in October 2023, a similar incident took place. Fortunately with no injuries. Your GM did however informed me that he would give me his business card because I wanted to email my concerns and my incident to him. He did not give me his card which was really disappointing. In my opinion I am of the understanding that after the first incident priority should be given to the replacement of the chairs. I look forward to your response.
