Just arrived back in the UK and already looking at returning. Absolutely fabulous island kept immaculate by the grounds staff who do a great job. Stayed in a beach bungalow (149) and what a location as many of the other bungalows are. The staff are very polite and attentive and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The room was kept immaculate over the 2 weeks by our room attendant who worked tirelessly moving from one lodge to another making your holiday perfect. Endless amount of food on offer at meal times with a good selection of salads, mains and desserts and fruit. The snorkelling is out of this world with so many different types of fish of all sizes, had endless turtle encounters just outside our bungalow in the lagoon and was lucky enough to have an encounter with a Giant Moray Eel , Snowflake Moray Eel and Camouflage Grouper together with the islands Nurse Sharks which were most impressive. There is a small shop selling bits but do expect to pay inflated prices i.e.. paid 38 dollars for a factor 50 sun lotion and some ear plugs for 22 dollars (required for an ear infection). There are some relatively reasonable souvenirs here and you can get postcards and stamps and post in reception. We had a television in our room but did not put it on once over the two weeks. We were offered an upgrade on arrival to a water bungalow but really wanted a beach bungalow so stuck with that and did not regret it once. Be prepared to get a few mosquito bites but the overall holiday satisfaction you will get here makes it worthwhile. We sprayed our room regularly and took extra precautions with bands , plug ins etc but still managed a few bites. Have brought back some wonderful memories and if you are thinking of going don't read too many reviews just go , you will not be disappointed. If you want lots of nightlife and shops to spend your money this is perhaps not for you but if you want a relaxing break this is just the tonic. Thank You to all the Staff at Dreamland you all do a great job .

Where to begin, This hotel is absolutely amazing, gorgeous and absolutely breathtaking that gives a carefree attitude towards the whole island. Firstly, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious ranging from juice to cocktails, champagne to rum. The food was great and different everyday with unique choices and even the staff made sushi in front of you with your fillings. HELLO?! dream island 🥹. The amount of fruit was crazy and I stuffed myself everyday. Secondly, the staff were the best experience of it all. Not the beach, not the sea, but the STAFF. I cannot express how absolutely amazing they were. They really put an effort in to really get to know you as a person. I really looked to them as a friend who we can trust, making me excited every meal to see them again. They were amazing. Rooms/bungalows were breathtaking (beach bungalow) however I think it really impacts your stay where your room is. I recommend to look at the map and get rooms like 111 and that side for a great stay and I believe it's better than the water bungalows. The view was amazing with clean practical rooms however a bit of extra storage in the bathroom/outdoor shower could be better. The experience to even be there was superb. The reef was meters away from the beach and held extraordinary fish of all species and colors. The sharks were great too and very friendly (do not fear) . Many excursions were available such as shark snorkeling, turtle snoring and even trips to other islands. My family did turtle snorkeling and they came up so close up but you must be able to do it as you do A LOT of swimming with no brakes. Diving was also available along with many other activities that kept you busy. In conclusion this place is absolutely amazing and a must go with ok prices and great different food to eat while watching the crystal clear waters. Great experience!!!!

Where do i begin……..after arriving on a seaplane (amazing experience) we were taken to reception to be greeted with a cold towel & a lovely drink. We stayed in a beach bungalow no 160 which was perfect with our own little beach, perfectly placed for everything…….the staff are amazing, very friendly but not in your face …….we did lots of snorkelling from outside our bungalow…..we saw beautiful fish & one day nurse sharks swimming so close …..wow. The island is kept very clean by the staff. They offer a free trip we chose the snorkelling adventure one which was amazing we saw turtles, beautiful fish & sharks. We also did the sunset dolphin trip……we did indeed see the dolphins & also on the was back did fishing ( I caught a big emptier fish. What a fantastic island……amazing. The only negative I would say is we did get bitten by the mosquitos……remember your spray & bite cream.

Just returned from 12 days in Dreamland and this place was fantastic! If you are looking for pristine sandy beaches, a gorgeous reef and great food - look no further! We had an over water bungalow and enjoyed being able to jump straight in to an amazing reef just off the bungalow steps. Literally saw sharks, eels, turtles, octopus and so many colourful fish every single day. The reception will lend you snorkelling gear but deffo worth investing in your own - you will use it! And fins were super useful as the currents could be a bit strong at times. The buffet food was great - with lots of cooking stations - I particularly enjoyed sushi day where they were carving sashimi off a massive tuna fish right in front of us. We went for half board as we are not big eaters or drinkers - and I was concerned we would be charged loads for drinks when we got there - but actually found it quite reasonable. $5 for a glass of wine with dinner and about $10 for a (really nice) cocktail in the bar. Juice in the morning and bottles of water are free. So half board is definitely do-able here. Oh and as a first time visitor to the Maldives, I was a bit anxious about the seaplane transfer timings etc - but tui/Dreamland sorted all this for us making sure us and our baggage were well on time for our international flight even though it was early in the morning. So in summary - Dreamland is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches and sealife!

We are here at the moment. If you want paradise it most definitely is here. From our arrival by seaplane to a little jetty where we were met by a boat and taken a little way to the larger jetty, met by staff it was all very well organised. The staff greeted us with a very welcome cold, wet flannel. Taken to book in where we greeted with a very welcome drink. Booking in was quick and easy and soon taken to our accommodation. Accommodation We chose the over water bungalow which was stunning. A very large living area, bedroom. The coffee table with a glass bottom was a great touch. The bathroom is very roomy and well decorated with a lovely bath. Also an outdoor shower which was absolutely fantastic and very useful. In fact we didn’t use the indoor one. The air conditioning worked great. The rooms are clean & the staff come in after you’ve left for breakfast to clean, change sheets etc & come back in the evening to shut curtains & turn bed down. The internet is good (probably better in the bungalow than in the main areas) Restaurants We predominantly ate in the sea view restaurant as we could sit eating watching to fish go by including nursery sharks and many more. The food and staff were fabulous. Always a good choice of food. When you have eaten (all meals etc breakfast ) or had a drink at the bars you will need to sign a receipt. You can also take some water and a couple of cans of drink back to room. Bar The bar is by the bio top lake which is nice. In the evening there can be a few flies and mosquitoes around also watch out for bats flying around day and night. We snorkelled most days. I am by no means an experienced swimmer or snorkeller but we went out most days. The fish etc are incredible. The lagoon is beautiful. If you head toward the rocks and the reef it is awesome albeit a bit scary. Yesterday we swam with a huge turtle and a nursery shark. The sea is the clearest I’ve ever seen, absolutely crystal and the sand is so white it’s dazzling. There is a heron that visits most days and numerous crabs. The small ones are around in the day and last night coming back from dinner we saw the biggest crap. A few geckos dotted around also. We still have a week left of out two week holiday but today we have storms so took the time to right this review. As the weather is a bit rubbish today (still 30 degrees) I am having a massage. Also included in the all inclusive package is a free excursion which we are doing on Thursday. Island hopping. We can’t fault this holiday at all. It’s pure paradise and would definitely return.

Been to many islands this is indeed unique! Love the idea of the Bio top lake. Natural water no chlorine or nasties. The Indian Ocean never fails to delight. The weather was amazing. Swimming is very safe in the lagoon. Whilst we didn’t snorkel others showed us their film which again didn’t fail to amaze. Have snorkelled many times in other islands. Beautiful HUGE room with inside shower, outside shower, free standing bath and twin sinks. Comfy extra large bed. Room very clean. Food excellent, we had no complaints whatsoever. Gym is small and equipped with things that are useful, dumbbells, triple weight machine that does lat pull downs, low row, leg extension, leg curl and chest press. Floor mats and elliptical, bike and treadmill. No barefeet allowed. Restaurant and bar staff are all very polite, kind and friendly and this is traditional to Maldives. Lovely lovely people. If you want busy night life and entertaining every night, this island is not for you. It’s a very laid back island. Sit back and enjoy the sunset. We spent 10 days recharging our batteries and Maldives are just the tonic. Big thanks to Rashfan, Faheen, Rizzaz and the whole Island team. Thank you for your hospitality.

The perfect beach holiday. Everything was just right down to the smallest details. The staff aimed to please at all times and were always smiling and pleasant, whether they worked in reception, the restaurant, bar, or around the gardens. The most amazing thing was being able to walk out of our bungalow into the sea, go snorkeling with resort supplied kit, then when we had finished, walk into the back door of our bungalow and straight into the outside shower before drying off and doing whatever we wanted next. Even the resort supplied shower gel was luxurious. In addition to that the wide variety of sealife and animal life in and around the island made it a true joy. Food was to a very high standard, with an excellent variety and generous.
