MM506827****I absolutely have to rave about Heyuan Zhixin! Before coming to Beijing, I specifically chose this courtyard hotel, and it totally exceeded my expectations by perfectly capturing the authentic old Beijing vibe. During my stay, the red walls and grey tiles looked stunning against the blue sky on a clear day, making for fantastic photos. The round window in my room faced the courtyard's bamboo shadows. Sitting by the window, sipping tea, I truly felt a sense of calm, as if I were living in a traditional Beijing home. The luckiest part was checking out today; as soon as I walked into the courtyard with my suitcase, it started snowing! Watching the delicate snowflakes fall on the red lanterns and the persimmon tree laden with red fruit, I instantly understood the meaning of ”red walls, white snow, a masterpiece on Earth.” The hotel masterfully blends the charm of a traditional quadrangle courtyard with modern comfort. Every detail in the courtyard is meticulously cared for, making every casual photo look like a professional shot. This unexpected snow, combined with the hotel's elegance, brought my Beijing trip to a perfect close. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this place again!

MM58800****For this friends' gathering, we wanted to experience a traditional courtyard hotel. We chose the Waldorf Astoria over the Aman, and it was an excellent experience! The room was very new and spacious, and the courtyard was beautiful. All the staff were incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, our dedicated butler, Amber, contacted us to ask if we needed any anniversary decorations and about our bedding preferences. We arrived quite early, and our room wasn't ready yet, so they kindly prepared a room for us in the main building to rest. They guided us through the entire process, and the service was incredibly detailed and attentive, giving us a fantastic first impression right from check-in. For breakfast, we opted for room service. The variety was extensive, with American, Continental, Chinese, and even low-fat options. Staff member Will also provided very attentive service. The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photography service. Although it was raining, the photographer (a young man named Yueqian) found great spots, and the photos turned out natural and beautiful. While taking photos in the courtyard, we met another staff member, Judy, who was very enthusiastic. She gave us many tips on photo locations and also told us about fun places to visit in Beijing. If we weren't heading to Universal Studios, we would have loved to stay a few more days. The overall experience was excellent, and I'd love to bring my parents here next time.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with the overall building exterior, room decor, and room temperature. The few areas that were slightly disappointing are as follows: [1] The TV had no screen mirroring function, which was extremely inconvenient!!! With the rise of streaming services, most people watch movies and TV shows online, so a TV without screen mirroring is incredibly impractical. [2] The breakfast quality was really not up to par, and the hotel only has one restaurant, which isn't very large. The à la carte dinner menu prices were ridiculously high. For a room costing 4888 a night, the breakfast quality felt like it was only worth a few dozen yuan per person. The overall variety was too limited, the coffee machine was far away, and there were very few coffee options. There were no pastries or cakes either, which felt completely inconsistent with the hotel's caliber. When I stay at a hotel, I really care about the breakfast quality, and this time I was very disappointed. Breakfast ends at 10:00 AM; I suggest it should extend to 11:00 AM on weekends, which would be more reasonable. [3] There was no in-room dining service, which is not very friendly for guests with children. [In summary] Having stayed in many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, there's still a lot of room for improvement, from the hardware facilities to the service mindset.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has a rich history, and its decor, preserved from the Republic of China era, truly gives you a feeling of stepping back in time. The hotel is located in a quiet area, surrounded by hutongs, and the nearest subway station is less than a 10-minute walk away, making transportation quite convenient. We stayed in the main building; it was clean and tidy, with no strange smells. Although the facilities are a bit older, it offers great value for money. We stayed for 5 nights, and the room was cleaned daily, and the heating was excellent. Our window faced east, so we were woken up by warm sunlight every morning. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

The whole courtyard has a great feeling whether it is raining or sunny. There are 🛝themed rooms in the room. It is clean and unique. It is suitable for spring, summer, autumn and winter. Camping in early summer⛺️Picking garden🍒 Water splashing festival in Liuli Star Valley in hot summer💦 Turn on floor heating in the house in autumn and winter to avoid winter. It is even more memorable to see the appreciation❄️ By the way, there is also a music festival starting on August 8th🤟 I strongly recommend dining at Baoshun House. The chef is Zhang Hengming, a famous chef👨🏻🍳who has won the top ten Chinese cooking masters👍 and made a delicious dinner that combines Chinese and Western cuisine🍴The taste is great😋 When the sun goes down, put on the court costumes carefully prepared by the manager Feel the fun of time travel The rise of Mentougou cultural tourism #Beijing Parent-child Tour #Mentougou B&B #Royal Liuli Pavilion #Baoshun House #Mentougou Music Festival #Liuli Star Valley
