Tiramisu33My overall stay was excellent, exceeding my expectations. I paid extra to upgrade to breakfast, and the hotel also offered free afternoon tea, a cafe, and a swimming pool. The overall environment was beautiful, with unique design and a great atmosphere. The staff were proactive and attentive, with excellent attitudes and quick responses to any issues.
The only drawback was that my room was right next to the road, and noise was a significant problem. A street festival was happening, and loud music started blaring from speakers at 6:30 AM. As I'm a light sleeper, I was woken up early and requested a room change the next day.
Both the hotel's facilities and service were commendable, but the street noise was a major downside. Light sleepers should definitely try to avoid rooms facing the road. Overall, it's still highly recommended.

Guest UserI spent two and a half days in Ho Chi Minh City and specifically came to Vung Tau for one day – the food was delicious! 😋 The accommodation was also great (you can rent motorbikes at the hotel for 150,000 VND a day, which is cheaper than outside). The front desk service was excellent, and the motorbike attendant was very friendly. (The front desk also helped me contact a bus company to schedule my return trip to Ho Chi Minh City). There's a 24-hour convenience store right next to the front desk.

Anonymous UserWe enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located with the pink church down the road. We were 3 pax and they gave us 1 big and 1 single bed. They had a simple gym and a beautiful jacuzzi. The room was very cozy. There was a laundromat just behind the hotel and they delivered to the hotel. I totally recommend this place and will definitely come back here.

Guest UserWe stayed here during our trip to Vietnam for my father's birthday. It was his first time in Vietnam, and he had a very comfortable stay. Our whole family had a wonderful time. We are grateful for the warm hospitality of all the staff.
They even surprised my father with a cake for his birthday, which made for a truly special memory. He was absolutely delighted.
We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, with Vietnamese dishes like pho and banh mi. It was very satisfying.
Overall, we had a comfortable stay and it's a wonderful hotel that we would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

The hotel's location is convenient, the facilities are relatively new, and the room is clean. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor, and footsteps in the corridor at night are quite noticeable. The breakfast selection is moderate, and the staff are friendly. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for short business trips.

i found the location to be great after a day of business had no problem finding restaurants for a good feed and a few drinks
transportation was easy to be able to get around .
the service from the staff were friendly and helpful and there security guards were happy to help you navigate outside
language will always be a problem no matter where you are in the world so a good translator device would be handy
and if its the night life your after the location couldn't be better
as for the room itself the only thing i could complain about was there was no tv not that i was in the room long enough to watch ,
after a day out you get back to a nice shower then hit the town and no problem falling asleep on a comfortable bed late at night
i would recommend to anyone who's not interested in all the frills & spills but a place that's clean, great location, and helpful staff

liushisxI rarely leave bad reviews, but this time I really can't hold back. I'm going to give an objective, unbiased account of my experience below.
The only pro: I booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop pool, which was hyped everywhere online. It's genuinely impressive for Ho Chi Minh City – high up with an expansive view, offering a direct panoramic vista of the entire city. It's definitely picture-perfect.
Ridiculous cons:
1. On the day of check-in, my friend suddenly had an upset stomach around noon. We asked the hotel for a glass of water and were flat-out refused, simply because we hadn't officially checked in yet. They wouldn't even meet a basic emergency need.
2. Our red-eye flight was delayed by 2 hours due to weather, meaning we didn't take off until almost dawn. I thought I'd just extend our stay for another night and head to the airport in the early morning to avoid being too exhausted. So I booked another night through a different platform, hoping to just keep our current room and avoid the hassle of moving. The front desk flat-out refused and then, out of nowhere, assumed we were going to cram three children into one room. In reality, I only had one child; the parents of the other two children had already booked a hotel near the airport and wouldn't be staying with us at all. They wouldn't listen to any explanation.
3. The room only came with two small 300ml bottles of water. After finishing them, I asked for two more, and the staff immediately refused, without any flexibility whatsoever. My friend drank an extra 300ml bottle in her room, and they even charged her for it during checkout.
When you go on vacation and stay in a hotel, you're looking for convenience and peace of mind. Instead, we hit roadblocks every step of the way. This kind of service truly doesn't live up to its 'influencer hot spot' reputation!

A Unique Stay at Landmark 81, but Some Room for Improvement
First of all, it is important to note that this is more like a private apartment rental than a hotel. The building itself is beautiful, and having the opportunity to stay in Landmark 81, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic buildings, was a unique and memorable experience.
However, I was somewhat disappointed with several aspects of the service. The check-in process took much longer than expected, so I would recommend allowing extra time if you have plans afterward.
Communication was mainly through WhatsApp. While the staff were generally responsive, there were several occasions when I was told that further information would be provided later, but I did not receive any follow-up unless I contacted them again.
There were also a few details that made the stay feel less polished. For example, some of the towels had the branding of another hotel on them, which felt a little unusual. There were no hand towels or trash bins, and some basic amenities that would have made the apartment more comfortable and convenient seemed to be missing.
The accommodation has an interesting setup: although it is closer to a private apartment rental than a hotel, you still need to meet the staff in person for parts of the check-in process. This was a new experience for me.
Overall, staying in Landmark 81 itself was special and memorable, and the building is impressive. However, I think the guest experience could be significantly improved with a smoother check-in process, more consistent communication, and better attention to basic amenities.

The apartment was clean and offered beautiful views. It was also very close to the city center, and getting a taxi was very convenient.
